I already bought / pre ordered the CD. Tried to get the Japan version but waited too long
it makes sense for a professional to think the energy level can be higher. If you look at when XG did dance covers and the original Mascara choreo before they debuted, they really used way more power, but their producer Simon told them as idols they needed to tone it down. I wish the girls can one day get to go wild like they used to.
It’s interesting and great to have the dancer perspective.

They are not a Kpop group, they are an international girl group and they came up with the term Xpop to describe themselves.
there's no use fighting it. xpop is just for branding really. people who know know they are just XG. Any title can't take away what their art is like. Kpop isn't even a good category since most kpop songs are written by international artists.
Xglax is under Avex Inc, whose hav music label YGEX (joint label with YG Entertainment) and label distributed with SM Entertainment. That's why XG had and will have appearances on korean music shows. But yes, XG doesn't want to be labeled just as Kpop or Jpop, rather being an international level girlband.
I think Xpop or Global group really fit them well, bc they don’t just stick to one genre. Their music has R&B, Hip Hop, Kpop, Jpop n American pop. Plus, they r amazing dancers, they all can rap n sing. Their group name “Xtraordinary Girl” definitely fit them well
