I swear Cocona and Jurin are so good at dancing that it's always hard to say who is better between them.
I only chose CocoNAH bc she is 3 & 1/2 YRS younger than Jurin which is a huge factor not knowing what she will do @ 22 Y.O but I also agree they both are good

It's interesting to note, Maya was ALMOST dropped from XG (along with Chisa and Juria) during their evaluations and now Maya has become one of the fan favorites when it comes to dancing. Can't overlook at the main vocalists, Chisa and Juria's dance prowess too!

They were never going to be dropped from XG.. only sent back to Japan. When they went to Korea that training was based around dance, it had nothing to do with vocal or rapping!

Yeah i agree they are better than any 4th gen girlgroup in dancing (except Itzy those girl are beasts. 3rd gen is unmatchable with lisa,momo and seulgi. Babymonster is also coming with a boom in 5th gen dancing

During an interview, XG members were asked who they think was the best dancer in the group and all of them agreed it was Jurin (even Jurin herself xD). I love that about them, they recognize each others skills and there's no competitive feelings between them. Truly a Hesono...
XG is a whole DANCE CREW. I became a fan after I received a recommendation from TH-cam and at that time..I did not know they were an Xpop Group. If I was another Group and I seen them coming…I’d just leave silently. They are ALL “ACES”. They trained for five years and their DANCE COVERS are RIDICULOUS. All of XG are Main Dancer material but officially XG Main Dancers are Jurin and Hinata.

Jurin is Main Dancer/Lead Rapper and Hinata is Main Dancer/Lead Vocalist.
Source it from the early days of XG. Although now, Hinata may be overshadowed by other members dance wise, but you can see that from Mascara and Tippy Toes Era. Also it was mentioned even by the girls that Hinata is their Dance senpai apart from Jurin.
PLUS, HINATA is an awesome.. AMAZING DANCER (tho everyone is A1 Flawless), just go see the Move video of hers and you know she is as technical as Jurin.

Officially, Jurin is the Leader of the group, and the Dance Leader. She is always critiqueing stage rehearsals and making adjustments on dance to the team. But they are all great dancers, dazzling dancers in their poise, perfect details, and movement, effortlessly. Jurin in Hesonoo shows her true range and artistry.

I’m glad Harvey got noticed too because she’s such an amazing dancer but it doesn’t get noticed enough. Out of every one she has my fav dance style❤
Harvey has incredible back flexibility. You can see it on Puppett Show Choreos in the flower circle, when she leans back, and when she bent over backwards at KCON LA on I am the Best!
To think that Cocona got almost eliminated during evaluations as a trainee and once almost gave up on her own... Now she is absolute gem of XG that everyone loves.
What they don’t know is that all XG are basically all main Dancers they have positions but they all agreed to be all main Dancers
they might agree on that they are good dancers but the main is jurin, the members said it on multiple interviews an we can tell cause they always go to her for advice or opinions on dance related stuff not cause she's the leader but also cause she's the best

Most of the choreo is thanks to Sienna Lalau from The Lab who is a complete beast. The girls are in good hands
Some were by Kiel Tutin, the international famous New Zealand Choreographer who was the stage musical director for Blackpink's Pink Venom World Tour. But yes, Sienna Lalau and the Lab more so in 2023.

I totally agree, XG is made of all main dancers and all of them are at professional level not the kind that is present in idols. Watching them performed is like seeing the essence of true dancers, every move is clean and perfect.

In an interview a few months back the legendary dance queen herself Hyoyeon from Girls Generation was asked to make her own dance crew. She picked Lisa, Momo, Chungha and Jurin and Cocona from XG. 2 members from one group. That just shows how insanely talented XG really is. Elite dancers, rappers and vocalists with their insane stage presence to match. XG is also very close with Sienna Laulau and the Lab who collab with them on a lot of their choreo.
The world would be shaking if this was a dance crew
i think ppl have been underestimating how good chisa is in her dances. she has great expressions that compliment the dances and she is actually very damn clean as well. but tbh, they all so good.
i feel like its easy to decide whos the better dancer and its jurin. cocona, shes really good but jurin is a natural dancer. two different things, cocona is very detail but you can tell she works hard to get this good and learn choreography, jurin on the other hand not saying shes not a hard worker but learning chores is easy for her cuz shes taugth her body to moves naturally to the beat and has full control of her body. she reminds me of jhope but more relax less bouncy
The thing is, sure when they started, some were more proficient in dancing than others but they’ve all trained together and for a long period of time that they all seem like main dancers. They’re too good.

I know how good xg members are at dancing but Cocona seems to have her own aura I'm surprised this child is under 20 years old
Jurin and Koko-chan are mother and daughter lol.. when Kamiya was interviewed she said that Maya was attached to her hip and kokona was attached to Jurin's. It's like the older ones took them under their wings. This is why in one of XGs behind the scenes Kokona cries when she is telling Jurin why she loves her on her bday.
JURIN is the main dancer. I also find that JURIA gives off lead dancer vibes. She is sharp yet fluid and she really emphasises the details and technicalities of the choreography. For example in XG's TGIF and Puppet Show dance practices, if you focus on Juria there are certain moves she performs with extra flourish and detail. Juria's technique is very appealing.
Juria really improved a lot in 2023 I started to notice her dance after I am The Best cover.
For me Cocona is the group’s most talented dancer, and Jurin is the best performer. But my faves to watch dancing of the group are Maya and Hinata! They both go hard.

Jurin and Cocona are both great dancers and have a lot of swag. What stands out for me on Cocona is her attitude when performing and Jurin has that MC energy.

Recently jurin said in one of their blogs where she was talking to maya and she called herself the dance leader and maya said the same on another interview. We all can have opinions but at the end of the day if they members said it's jurin is not that we can't trust their judgement, they trained with her, their mentors must've said that aswell.

Every time people talk about the best xg dancers, two are undoubtedly mentioned. And we all know who those mentioned are. I would also like to add that although Jurin is a better dancer, the difference between her and Cocona is practically minuscule.

And i can be be guided by that and not just that the members said it but again, they trained with her for years, they know, their mentors know, they have seen things we haven't. All we have to judge is a little of what they can do. Don't get me wrong, i love cocona and i think she's a great rapper and dancer, she could be a Main dancer in any other group just not this one, i feel like people think she's underrated when she's always praised and noticed first by everyone( as she should ofc) but when someone says someone it's better on something, like dance, facts are ignored.

No, theres no official main dancer in xg, its all just kpop profiles/sites that said that. They only have titles in terms of vocal and rapline.

Jurin is the official main dancer/dance leader of XG and they have said this many times, the latest video would be during Xtra XG of their japan showcase or their weekly idol appearance. They all have their official vocal, rap and dance positions. Kpopprofiles didn't just make those up coz they have cited sources. The latest official profile from qq music interview in december lists Harvey and Hinata as lead dancers while Jurin remains as the main dancer/dance leader. I get where it gets confusing coz Hinata is grouped with the vocal line but the official lead vocal of XG is actually maya. Hinata is a sub-vocal
Hina is an insane dancer, she would be main dancer in 99% of girl groups but Jurin and Cocona are genuinely 2 of the best in the industry

Hinata is the most introverted out the group and her confidence has made tremendous leaps since she first started training. She is still working on it though
