- In Demon Slayer Season 1, we are introduced to Muzan Kibutsuji who to our surprise, Muzan has a wife and a kid who are human. Beyond that, we never see them again. Who are Muzan's wife and daughter? What happened to them? In today's video we uncover the truth.

I think he just likes this particular family so he wasn't bad to them, just like he had his favorites demons, but ultimately were a tool to disguise himself, I don't think he has any humanity left, I just hope he let this family live and for them it looks like he just disappeared.

For someone who's lived as long as he did, a few years of playing house on a whim doesn't seem all that odd.
Muzan was mostly taking his time and waiting after all, so you'd imagine he found ways to keep himself entertained during all those years, and doing the same thing over and over again gets old. It makes sense he'd play a different 'character' in each of his disguises, which is probably we he goes on to try being a child and a woman soon afterwards too.

I think honestly, There is likely truth to the fact Muzan had empathy, Despite it being hard for many to realize. LIKELY Muzan buried such empathy deep down. BUT it is shown if you pay attention carefully in the smaller details. From his favorite lower moon, Rui. His reaction to Ubuyashiki's children. And among other things. You can tell while Muzan is quite evil, He is capable of understanding these positive emotions, he just buries it very deep down
And also Muzan's child looks like the little girl that was named Soya in Gyomei's backstories
That isn't Sayo by now in the series Sayo is 14
The girl Gyomei cared before being an Hashira died when the demon attack him and all the orphan childrens he was in charge of (only Kaigaku and another boy survived).
Even more, that was many years ago, she wouldn't as young than the girl Muzan have as daughter.

Being basically a Demon Slayers version of the chibi comedic schooll life anime of Attack of Titans.
It's to be taken as a different dimension inside a multivers.
All the characters from the main original canon, both demon and human, just exist in our modern timeline and all as humans like if nothing happened.
None of the characters here are reincarnation and are directly themselves.
(Given no characters in the original is reincarnated, they just die and remain the rest of eternity into heaven. The characters we see in the epilogue chapter are their descendants or relatives at best).
All the demons characters in the initial story here are normal human as demons don't exist in this alternative dimension (and it's Muzan itself in his first life in this dimension we have, not him reincarnated or a relative).
Remind you that when Muzan is with his wife and daughter, he is undercover, not using his real name or family name, and using a fake name and fake family name.
So in the School spin-off manga , he shouldn't be reffered as Kibutsuji if his child carried his fake family/last name.
Plus, you cannot take as definitive truth something which happen in one dimension/canon as also identically occuring in another one.
Again, what can happen in both canon can strongly diverged between each others despite a similar or identical basis.

Hmm, that is true. However, In Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Muzan Kibutsuji tells Tamayo that she killed her family. However, it's possible that Muzan killed the daughter and wife's real husband or father, who looked similar to Muzan. This would have led the daughter and wife to believe that Muzan was their real husband or father

Muzan is a shapeshifter. He most likely killed the real dad and turned into him to better blend in. He also did similar when he turned into a child to blend into a family.
Muzan used that family as a way to not get caught by demon slayers but when Tanjiro found him after the encounter he killed them both
Muzan having Children would make for a good Sequel… imagine the son or daughter of muzan coming back to mess things up…

So by default, objectively, she is indeed her daughter biologically.
And before someone thinking be clever said that what Tanjiro said when meeting Muzan for the first time is proof that she isn't Muzan's child, it's actually not a valid evidence.
Sure, Tanjiro smell Muzan's wife and the girl, and said they are human.
But as the girl would be half-human and galf-demon, she would produce BOTH human and demon smells.
And as the girl would be the girl of Muzan, so she would have the same smell than him.
And as she was at the same moment in/on Muzan's hands/arms (on him) when Tanjiro meet them for the first time, her demon smell would be merged with the one of her father and not be spotted by Tanjiro.
When Tanjiro meet Muzan, his wife and daughter, he would spot the demon smell of Muzan and the demon smell part of his daughter but thinking it only come from Muzan alone, and spot the smell of the wife and the human smell part of the daughter and thinking both are entire human and not at all demon.
So, this moment of the manga/anime does not provide any reliable evidences supporting that this girl isn't Muzan biological daughter.

Having her as main character for a sequel would have huge great potentials.
Like, she discover being half-demon after getting older and her demon nature go into surface, years after Muzan passed away. And face as legacy the relics of her father dark, harsh and horrendous life and past.
Like, some surviving demons under his reign which escape and remained unspotted from the Demon Slayers eyes and at one moment just regrow wild in population now Muzan isn't here anymore to control them and seek at one moment to destroy humanity.
And Muzan's daughter being forced and driven into a conflict to resolve this problem by imposing herself as the new leader in order to prevent demons doing what they did under Muzan's reign but also that demons don't go extinct and find a solution to made peace between human and demons forever (as she's a very different person from either her father or any Demon Slayers).
With the help of both human and demon characters she befriend with and which are good.
Muzan that night on the infinity castle .. was just a quick milk run and thanks to those evil slayers that kid grew up without a dad 😭😭😭😭😭

I don't think he actually cared about his family he just knew how to act normal. Look at the family he had when he was a kid. His maid thought he was a sweet young master until he was so fed up with the demon slayers he broke and showed his true colors. He can pretend like the best of us but eventually he just moves on and doesn't care.
I think I heard somewhere online he just killed them that way they wouldn't be a liability to him, but I don't know that doesn't really seem like his style, my guess has always been that he maybe turned them into demons, I think personally Mozan's daughter would have made the perfect antagonist for a sequel series

I think originally Muzan, human one, just wanted to have a healthy body and stroll around in nature like everybody (before killing his dr muzan was looking outside - pleasant weather - he felt jealous of people, they can enjoy but he can't and that medicine he was consuming started working which encouraged him to satisfy his anger and he killed the dr. in rage. He started everything just to live like everyone else, to achieve this dream but with time he forgot why he started it, just like Kokushibu had forgotten why he wanted to become demon, to become a strong swordsman, to live long and hon his skills. The problem was they forgot the reasons with time.
He can split is body apart and moving, means that he is talking with himself, whoever chase him willl be just another "Shadow Clone Technique" in different body and faces.
My guess is she probably had legal rights to a lot of their property since it was her fortune from the start, so Muzan had less to gain from getting her to commit suicide

My assumption is that after tanjiro first found him, he abandoned them cause he pop up later as a little boy.

Muzan is a Demon who appears in different versions of himself. Those include him as a maiden & a child. So there’s no way he would have a daughter who looks mostly human. Because that was the body of a man who ended up as his host.
They are probably dead, unless the author wants to make a sequel, so out of nowhere muzan's daughter will come back as a villain.
