The divergent chess styles of Karpov and Kasparov are completely reflected in these series of interviews by the Levitov channel. An absolute delight for those of us who grew up in the era of the two Ks. Thank you for this amazing series.
At 28:02 Garry says today he would have been disqualified for writing down the clock time on his moves.... but that's not correct. Art. 8.1.b of the FIDE Rules says it is actually allowed.
A brilliantly instructive and interesting concept, all kudos and thanks to Levitov Chess World for making such amazing content available for non-Russian speaking chess lovers. I had a question, what book is being referred to, in the interview?
Kasparov is legend but not my legend, i prefer Alekhine, Talj, Bobby Fischer, Paul Morphy, Paul Keres (note Keres was not World Champion but what a genius he was!) sorry i would like to add Karpov and Hungarian ultra genius Portisch Lajos (!) and Boris Spassky who had the chess style i like.
