I couldn’t believe you posted this! I’ve been using Mixed Chicks for a couple months now and just yesterday.. yes, yesterday, I bought Aunt Jackie’s Quench! Talk about timing! I think your hair looks beautiful on both sides ❤️

They look defined because they’re moisturized :))
I would suggest wet it a bit more that your whole head/hair is equally wet and no frizz, apply leave in and than a defining cream/gel, I promise you, you will love it. And when it crunch, just scrunch it and it will stay on!! Also a bonnet made my hair last so good! More than open and just a satin pillow.
My hair doesn't do great with really wet hair styling and it's just annoying to me and takes so long to dry! I'll have to keep trying!

Didnt know your TH-cam was originally just for keratin. So glad you made it into a regular thing!
I didn't get keratin last summer or this summer. My hair is FRIZZY! but it's all good.
@@DebNYCurl I made an appointment for keratin bit 2i got Covid( a month or so ago). Maybe it wasn't meant to be lol.

Do you ever air dry or mostly diffuse your hair? I don’t think I see a difference between either side. Both look great! My hair gets too stiff from gel. I’m using a curl primer from R&Co and Ouidad styling cream. Just got the BB Curl styling cream. Haven’t used it yet. Love your black 🐱💞
I just looked up R & Co. they aren't cheap! But will put on the list for one day thanks! I really liked the B&B Surf Styling Cream but B&B is also pretty expensive I think.
I just stumbled across the Mixed Chicks at the store last night. Reading the label it seems perfect for me. Decided to come home and research it first before spending the 20.00.
The first review I watched described the scent of the Mixed Chicks as smelling like Windex? It was a 5 yr old review, but your thoughts on that? BTW, thanks for the review. I think both products worked well with your hair. I'll give both products a try. Grew my hair out during covid. Wore it short for a very long time. Glad to be liberated from the frequent haircuts and everyone around me is amazed at my full wavy curly head of hair:). But...its been interesting trying different products to tame it down which is why I had it short all these years:). But I'm really enjoying it long again:)
Mixed Chicks leave in in one of my top favorite products! I don't think the smell is bad I don't feel it has a strong smell in my opinion. Funny that was me the past 3 years. I cut my hair really short and this past year started growing it again and loving it more. Don't know why I would start a TH-cam channel when my hair wasn't at my favorite length lol.
