The fake fly is to make them look more like a pair of chinos & less like “sweat pants”. I love the Mack Weldon Ace Joggers. They are made of a great material and look great with even a flannel & pair of minimalist sneakers.
I recently bought a pair of Jack Archer pants for a cross country flight. They were very comfortable and practical. For just good old fashion lounging I like my Huckberry sashiko jogger pants.
I've tried a few joggers for lounging and stuff, but I'm just too short and stocky... they all look bad on me and you can't get them tailored really. :)

You should try the primo joggers they have short joggers and are comfortable
