Actually bro, that's exactly what I was looking for, basically every question I had about the Cuts Clothing you answered it. Really enjoyed the video as a whole too. keep up the good work 👏 👏👏
A crew T-shirt is usually $28 at BYLT and $48 at CUTS. That is a major differentiator that should have been mentioned in the "Cost" section. That means that 5 BYLT shirts = 3 CUTS shirts = ~$140 total
Plus, I noticed you can save a bit more if you bundle them together. A $20 difference plays a big factor in decision making. So, if they both get a score of 18/20, it would only make sense to go with BYLT
Well, unlike Bylt, Cuts at least ships in Canada from within Canada (meaning no customs/additional tax). So that's bonus points from me for Cuts (and no random hidden surprise fees that would otherwise come with it).
Great video! One tip on the Bylt staining problem- Hot water and Dawn dish soap! Let it sit and then wash it. It will break down the oil and remove the stain.
AMAZING!!! Thanks @BlockMinerz, worked like a charm. I was in a rush and put on my BYLT Maroon Henley Drop-Cut Long Sleeve: LUX - I know better, but the deodorant hadn't completely dried and well... I thought it was ruined. I washed it several times but the stains stood out like a sore thumb. Tried your remedy and it looks as good as it did when it arrived! Thanks, again! 👍
i've been hesitant to pull the trigger on either of these but they are the two main options I've been looking at for a capsule wardrobe. Thanks so much for the in depth review.
Bylt all the way. They always have great sales and the fit is consistent. Cuts feel and fit like extremely overpriced Target shirts. I bought five XL shirts from Cuts and two of them fit noticeably smaller. W Bylt, you can feel the premium material and they have an extremely satisfying weight to them. And price , you’ll always get double the shirts with Bylt, Cuts is unjustifiably expensive.
BYLT for me! Fit price quality is better then cuts! Donated a lot of brand shirts I had on the closet and basically wear BYLT shits and pants as my daily casual style at home office and work outs even going out sometimes! I had wash most of them with out dryer and they will last a while! Or if you want to dry them put delicate so they are kinda semi wet when they come out of the dryer! That will make this shirts or pants last you a while! Great review brother
im a stocky/chubby dude stocky shoulders/chest, Cuts clothing def isnt for me, there biggest size xxl was just WAAAAAAY to small had to return my 400 buck order, BYLT XXL Fit me perfectly, never in my life have i had a shirt fit me so perfect like BYLT did, and there shirts in quality are amazing.
Thanks man, nice review and comparison of both. I’m doin a shirts overhaul, so many brands out there. There’s two, but also guys like ASOS, ESNTLS, J Crew, Ministry of Supply, Public Rec, WYR…lots of choice
I got the BYLT everyday pants 2.0 VERY VERY good purchase. Definitely one of the softest pants I’ve had. On par with paige jeans. Waist 31 go with size medium.
Absolutely love my BYLT Basics clothing. One thing I have a complaint about is that material they use for their logos, you mentioned it actually. It peels off. Cuts sews their branding on the outside of their clothing, which I love. After seeing this video I’m happy to see Cuts is pretty similar to BYLT, so I’ll be purchasing some Cuts Clothing stuff.
You wont be disappointed going with Cuts clothing. I also just saw they now have the loyalty program so make sure to take advantage of that. Thanks for watching.
Agreed. All my BYLT shirts have had the interior logo peel off. Also, I only like the BYLT shirts and hate the feel of the LUX fabric. Cuts is next level.
@@timetraveler1681 I 100% agree, I prefer their BYLT blend. I just got Cuts stuff last week, it is LEAPS & BOUNDS better than BYLT, their shirts do run a little smaller, though. I'm a Large in BYLT, but the Large for Cuts is decently smaller. I'm waiting for my XL for Cuts, the Large I tried on for Cuts is soooo comfy & silky smooth. A lot of my BYLT clothing has pilled up a lot, too. Cuts has a better logo & better design for their stitching. My BYLT logos all peeled off after about a month or so.
What a great, well organized and informed video. Very very well done, thank you. I personally bought two Bylt shirts and wasn’t super happy and then after buying CUTS, I almost never wear anything else. There are pros and cons to both but I just think the colors, fit and styling of CUTS is soo much better than Bylt. Something I have had a huge issue with is the pilling on CUTS and they are clearly aware of this issue because they launched the new PYCA Pro which is supposed to not pill. I also had problems with my natural deodorant staining my CUTS so I have to wear other deodorant with them. However, customer service from CUTS is fantastic, they have replaced probably at least 5 of my shirts for me no problem.... because of the pilling. I have also returned and exchanged multiple items for free with their Happy Returns where you can just drop it off at certain locations. Really really great.
Just got my first order with BYLT after their 30% black Friday special. Your previous video comparing their two paints was a great resource to have. I ordered a couple of their basic color drop cuts and one Henley as well. Excited to finally try them!
@@lifemadeeasywithdevory6963 It really met my expectations! Even though I never had bought a product like this (high quality basics) the multiple good opinions like yours and other reviewers gave me high expectations which I am glad to see were totally true. Got their weekend pants that you reviewed as well, probably the comfiest pair I own currently.
I have purchased from BYLT, Get Tees, and Cut . BYLT fits closer on me vs. Get Tees which is probably my fave right now due to the slightly loose fit and shorter length (I actually took the split-hem BYLT in grey to my tailor. Will lose the split but gain the shorter length for greater versatility). Awaiting my Cut Tees to arrive to get a final verdict. Greatly appreciate your interview b/c BYLT is high quality and I can't wait to compare vs. Cut and Get Tees. Truly makes me want to replace all my shirts with these types! Thanks!!
I bought both during the covid years. My closet is now all Bylt. Cuts fits way too tight around the waist. If I'm out of shape a little bit it just sits right on my love handles and beer belly. Blyt is tigher around the chest but loose where I need it. People are constantly telling me the shirts look great and that I look jacked haha I have noticed that they easily stain from oils. I put baking soda on the stain overnight then scrub it with water and dawn before throwing it in the wash.
I have like more than 10 cuts,. shorts sleeve, long sleeve, hoodies, polo. for quality, they are perfect, I wash them at least 30 times, no shrinking, no color fading, no pilling, just like new. They keep their shape forever. People please don’t talk until you really get one.
Just ordered me a pair of the Bylt Basics love cuts but just thought I'd give Bylt Basics a try, just to see if they do not fit as tight as cuts and they also have a variety of colors available which I can not find in cuts. great review.
I've had great luck removing the stains from Bylt shirts by spraying a light degreaser on the stain and washing them in warm water. Doesn't discolor them at all.
Great point. Yea it really happens to the people who where cologne its totally manageable and people should know the risk upfront. Im going to do what you mentioned.
@@lifemadeeasywithdevory6963 I personally use the the green colored Zep degreaser. I dilute it to somewhere in between their light/medium recommendation and it's worked well!
Thanks for the review. Discovered the same thing about fit on BYLT. Too snug for stocky bigger guys. And YES I have 3 henleys that stained way too easy. Kinda bummed me out. Cool review!
Very well done. You laid it out. Agree Thad you can’t just arbitrarily say which is better. Fit, for instance, is personal. I own a Cuts Fiord blue t-shower hoodie. It is spectacular. Agree. It’s worth the money and so, so comfortable. My problem with both brands is a lot of bland, muted colors. That wine BYLT shirt is sweet, but they don’t have that color in a Henley. I’ll pick up a black Henley from one of these two, but otherwise I’ll wait until they cycle through seasonal colors.
Thank you for posting/sharing. I only recently came across BYLT and I took a look at their website. My interest is in the polo shirts ...the collarless ones look great online. Nike makes them (Think Tiger Woods), but they can be a bit expensive. BYLT is sorta kinda in the same price range ...maybe less on average as you'd have to catch a sell with Nike. Anyway, back to BYLT - I am looking at their tees too ...the LUX ones. Since these are something I would wear on top and not as a base layer, I would definitely be hanging them in the closet and not fold into a drawer like I do my Jockey t-shirts that I wear under tops. I like the curve hems on BYLT as that is not something I've seen before. I would go for the v-neck style and wear a Jockey v-neck t-shirt under it. I always wear t-shirt under shirts because to me it prevents underarm staining on your shirts and sweat stains in general on a hot day or any day that you are hustling around. I am concerned about staining, but I think you said that was on BYLT's regular and not their LUX? Anyway, I'm still in research mode so time will tell. Again, thank you. Cheers!
I was looking for a good quality T-Shirt for my fiance, but every video on TH-cam seemed a little biased due to having affiliate links, or no long term wear results. Excellent review and comparison! Thank you!
Haven't tried Cuts just yet because the price is pretty high for me, per tee. But that said, Bylt Blend is LEAGUES better than the Lux blend. The Lux is far too athletic / waxy. They use a moisture wicking material for LUX and it doesn't feel comfortable. Bylt Blend is a standard tee feeling and they do it perfectly. It fits more flattering and just feels much more professional than a waxy type of tee like Lux is. Just my two cents.
Idk if you check this anymore since the video is really old but i used to have issues with clothes staining too and my fiance showed me this trick that helped me get stains out of my cut shirts that didn't come out with a normal wash. If you take some liquid detergent and put it right on the stain and lightly rub the shirt together over the stain with the detergent and then put it in the wash it got all of my stains out! If rubbing the shirt together doesn't work try a tooth brush or sponge with detergent and lightly scrub where the stain is then wash like normal and they all should come out.
I got a sea breeze micro dot drop cut from BYLT and I absolutely love it! It seems too nice to work out in, but also seems durable so I wore it to the gym once anyway and got a good compliment on it. It definitely looks kinda like a hospital gown in that color but I love it anyway 😂 I wish both brands had more interesting colors and designs. The micro dot is fantastic though!!!! BYLT is already expensive (worth it though) but I can't imagine paying for cuts. It's $28 vs $48.
I have only purchased cuts clothing for sure worth the money. The problem I ran into was when getting a long sleeve shirt I had to buy a size up it was way too tight.
DeVory, great review. I have been buying built drop cut lux and bylt blend for a little over a year now. Love the shirts. Stumbled upon cuts a few months ago and was intrigued. Your review gave me great insight. However I feel like I am missing something. Listening to you over a year and a half ago, and reading some of the comments, people seem to say the shirts are the same price, and thats not true. The Cuts Pima blend is around 60, and their other blend is 55. The Bylt blends and specifically the lux seem to be around 30. Just seems like with your review/comparison and both being around same quality, it would be a no brainer to go with BYLT. Anyone, correct me if I am wrong please. Once again DeVory, great review.
Best review i've seen man, thank you! Have you noticed a length difference between the two? I've been wearing Bylt drop cuts for 5ish years now, and the length is just a bit too long for my preference. (6'3" 220, Large) but Ive dealt with it because for the price during a sale ($28ish) Bylt is really hard to beat.
Great job on your reviews. I'm a huge Vuori fan but still always looking for that perfect t shirt. I'm afraid that's a lifelong project. Lol I'm definitely going to buy each one of these to continue my quest.
Omg bro , I just did the same, I just ordered both bylt shirts , they just came in the mail just to see which one I like , if I even like it , I wish I found this video beforehand lol
I will have to echo a lot of the others here and thank you for such a great review!! What are your thoughts on Lululemon and Mack Weldon clothing brands?
Great video thanks my guy. Just an FYI if you have an oil based cologne its meant to be applied to the skin not your clothes! Have one request would like to see joggers, shorts, pants and how they are/fit??
My go to is BYLT. I live 15 mins away from them so I get my stuff hella fast lol. Their shirts are awesome just make sure you get the LUX fabric. However, their pants is hit or miss in terms os sizing.
I'm curious to learn, after 2 years now, what brand do you wear now? Because the more research I do and to finding the right pair of pants for me, the more difficult it becomes to choose one.
I love Cuts but the large, highly visible seam on the neck is unsightly and poorly made, and the stitching around the label on the back of their shirts is also highly visible from the back. These details greatly detract from the “premium” feel of the shirt in my opinion, Especially for a $50 T-shirt.
I have a J.Crew’s essential t-shirts (tall) and they’re still too short. I was looking at both of these brands as the hem looks like it might save the day. I’m not necessarily tall nor do I think my torso is long, but I do workout and am about 46” around the chest and with a little muscle on my shoulders, I think regular t shirts fit a little short because of that. I’m 5’11” and larges are too short, which sounds silly because I wouldn’t imagine I’d need an extra large. Do you think these would fit okay?
I work out a lot, bought 2 large Pyka Pro T shirts from cuts, waited about 3 weeks for them. They were tighter than an underarmour shirt on me. Complete waste, returned them that day. Just bought BYLT t shirts, we shall see. Weight - 185, Height 5 '11
Thank you for this. I was going to buy Bylt Basics going into this video and you just sealed the deal. What did it was the looser fit. I get a few more months in the gym to wear a super tight shirt.
I bought a couple of BYLT Split hem tee and it kinda of long for a guy with 5.9 height. I really like the fabric and I hope bylt guys do something about the extra length.
Bylt LUX is a little thicker and I prefer the slightly looser fit . Just got my first Cuts, I don't think I will be buying more. Your video was accurate tho. Any other premium T-shirt brands you would recommend?
Yo where you at? Make more videos I almost subscribed but you got 3 videos and then radio silence 🔕 This video was amazing though. Super high quality, informative, and great structure.
Thanks brother, this was a really informative review. Being a buyer outside from the States, I had to pay $150 for return if something went wrong. So your video really helped. However, can you tell what your height is for you to fit in an M size.
@@lifemadeeasywithdevory6963 hi bro. great vid. im 5'9 about 175 to 180. (depends what i eatting that week...lol....the web site tells me im a L. but im always a M on everything....and your 180 and you wear a M? thx
Thanks for the video.. I know it's been 3 years, and I don't even know if you even put out videos.. but I just wanted to say, the volume of the intro is a lot louder than the rest of the video. just a constructive criticism
Ive tried cuts and bylt and both great quality but bylt fits me better and just feels better. Also their masks are worth a shot too. I have the black and camo!
Cuts runs small, I usually wear medium and had to return for large which fit perfect. The split hem is wider around the waste than the curve, so in that one I would consider true to size.
My 2 cents about my BYLT tee. I ordered BYLT LUX Basic Crew Split Hem t shirt & have been wearing it for over a month. What I loved: the fit in the shoulders, arms, & torso, a really comfortable fit. I am 5'6" athletic build (wide shoulders) so I ordered a large. What I don't like: shirt is too long, & the collar/neck line looks worn after a few washes. I won't be buying anymore from BYLT unless they shorten the length of the shirt. CUTS I haven't tried and probably won't due to price. Other brands i've tried: WYR (again shirt too long & runs small), Fresh Clean Tees (shirts fit well, but found out later they ripped the tags off the neck and were rebranded with their logo). Also read they were Next Level Tees....anyone have any recommendations i'm open. Thanks for the video comparison.
I have the shirts and weekend pants from bylt...the only thing I have a problem with is the pants the wrinkles don't come out at all...I have a size large in them...after months of use when I stand up from sitting down I have to constantly pull the pants down from my calf ..its like they shrunk on my calf...and u always skip leg day!

Love this video man thank you! Maybe next time do height and weight?
Thank you and appreciate the feedback. I agree they are a bit long. Pricing is amazing!
Great job on your reviews. I'm a huge Vuori fan but still always looking for that perfect t shirt. I'm afraid that's a lifelong project. Lol
I'm definitely going to buy each one of these to continue my quest.
Rule of threads
I appreciate your comprehensive review! Thanks! I will check out your other videos as well.
Omg bro , I just did the same, I just ordered both bylt shirts , they just came in the mail just to see which one I like , if I even like it , I wish I found this video beforehand lol
Bought a lot of cuts every time it took a month to get & no tracking
I will have to echo a lot of the others here and thank you for such a great review!!
What are your thoughts on Lululemon and Mack Weldon clothing brands?
Thanks for the solid review. Do you have and lululemon pants or shirts? If so how do they compare? to BYLT,CUTS
We would have loved to be apart of this conversation! Hopefully you'll revisit the subject and throw us in the mix, great video mate!
solid review, going with built basics for most clothes due to the point system and a bit looser fit
Great video thanks my guy. Just an FYI if you have an oil based cologne its meant to be applied to the skin not your clothes! Have one request would like to see joggers, shorts, pants and how they are/fit??
Good tip! The joggers and shorts I am trying now. Will do review. Thanks for watching.
Great review! Very informative and well delivered. Thanks!
My go to is BYLT. I live 15 mins away from them so I get my stuff hella fast lol. Their shirts are awesome just make sure you get the LUX fabric. However, their pants is hit or miss in terms os sizing.
Great review! liked your review on the pants as well.
Glad you like the review. And thanks for watching.
So happy I found this review. A rewards program is always a factor for me.
I'm curious to learn, after 2 years now, what brand do you wear now? Because the more research I do and to finding the right pair of pants for me, the more difficult it becomes to choose one.
Love this video!!! Thank you so much for your efforts in making this video. We appreciate it
Great video man. All the stuff I always think about but not many videos share those details like stains, pet hair, etc. 👍🏽👍🏽
Use Dawn dish soap on the Bylt oil stains it will come out!
So you hand wash with dawn or hit it with dawn and then through in washer?
@@vinnypardi Hit it with dawn, make sure the grease spot is saturated in soap then throw it in the washer! I has worked for me everytime!
@@lancebrown5607 appreciate it! just ordered 5 shirts 🤞
Thank you for mentioning the pet hair magnet effect Cuts shirts have. I love their shirts but came here in search of an alternative, due to that.
This was such an excellent review. Wish more like this existed!
This video is super helpful and incredibly well put together! Thank you!
would love to see a comparison of these two with Wyr
Bylt is definitely better for guys that have a regular dad belly. But still, work out, both these shirts are made for guys that semi workout
I love Cuts but the large, highly visible seam on the neck is unsightly and poorly made, and the stitching around the label on the back of their shirts is also highly visible from the back. These details greatly detract from the “premium” feel of the shirt in my opinion, Especially for a $50 T-shirt.
I love how my cuts t shirts look.....when they are not on my body. If you arent lean like the models every curve of fat on your body shows through lol
Bylt is so fucking good, love the quality and fit
Me too!! Thanks for watching!
Love the video, I'm tall and broad. 6'5''. Do you think cuts XXL will fit or be too tight?
I have a J.Crew’s essential t-shirts (tall) and they’re still too short. I was looking at both of these brands as the hem looks like it might save the day. I’m not necessarily tall nor do I think my torso is long, but I do workout and am about 46” around the chest and with a little muscle on my shoulders, I think regular t shirts fit a little short because of that. I’m 5’11” and larges are too short, which sounds silly because I wouldn’t imagine I’d need an extra large.
Do you think these would fit okay?
These will absolutely work for you and they 3 options for the hem style meaning you can get a standard length or a longer length
I’m 6’3 and 190lbs. Athletic build. BYLT Medium shirts/tanks fit me perfectly.
@@guymartin5665 Cuts were horrible, I just got my BYLT larges and their much better.
Thank you for this. I was going to buy Bylt Basics going into this video and you just sealed the deal. What did it was the looser fit. I get a few more months in the gym to wear a super tight shirt.
did you notice the fit changing or any *ahem* shrinkage after washing? Could you try a shrink test by washing on hot and drying on high?
I bought a couple of BYLT Split hem tee and it kinda of long for a guy with 5.9 height. I really like the fabric and I hope bylt guys do something about the extra length.
What size did you buy? I’m also 5’9 and normally wear Large.
You should try Rule of threads brands, the shirts are awesome looking!
Bylt LUX is a little thicker and I prefer the slightly looser fit . Just got my first Cuts, I don't think I will be buying more. Your video was accurate tho. Any other premium T-shirt brands you would recommend?
My big question is if they shrink? Idk if I missed a comment from you about that.
Thank you! I appreciate your honest opinion! 👍🏻
I had an oil stain from cooking dinner on that exact wine color shirt from BYLT... it took 3 washes but if you use Tide Pods it should come off.
Thank ill try that out.
Yo where you at? Make more videos I almost subscribed but you got 3 videos and then radio silence 🔕
This video was amazing though. Super high quality, informative, and great structure.
Subscribed just cause this man dropped $1500
This was an awesome review thank you!!!
Thanks brother, this was a really informative review. Being a buyer outside from the States, I had to pay $150 for return if something went wrong. So your video really helped. However, can you tell what your height is for you to fit in an M size.
Glad I could help. Yes I am 5' 10" and weight 182lbs. I have a wide chest as well.
@@lifemadeeasywithdevory6963 hi bro. great vid. im 5'9 about 175 to 180. (depends what i eatting that week...lol....the web site tells me im a L. but im always a M on everything....and your 180 and you wear a M? thx
Hi Divyanshu, did you order the tshirt and how much did you pay custom duty?
Devory is there a way to remove the BYLT label on the bottom right of shirts? I really don't like it on colored shirts. Maybe make a video??? Thanks!
Thanks for the video.. I know it's been 3 years, and I don't even know if you even put out videos.. but I just wanted to say, the volume of the intro is a lot louder than the rest of the video. just a constructive criticism
Great video, my guy!
Great review!
Great review brother! I have both and I love bylt. Have 60 drop cuts lol
Lol that is awesome. Worth it for sure. Thanks for watching.
Ive tried cuts and bylt and both great quality but bylt fits me better and just feels better. Also their masks are worth a shot too. I have the black and camo!
Also highly recommended Mack Weldon 👌🏻
Thank you for putting time stamps
In terms of sizing for Bylt, are they similar to Nike or Under Armor?
Great video!!! In your experience, do these brands run small or large? I use L in some brands like Uniqlo , but M in others
They run true to size. If you usually wear a medium get a medium.
Cuts runs small, I usually wear medium and had to return for large which fit perfect. The split hem is wider around the waste than the curve, so in that one I would consider true to size.
@@unusualsuspects7917 I also had to go a size larger with cuts
I like both, but good info about the stains and pet hair. BYLT ships faster also.
i've got like 10 Cuts shirts, gonna pick up some BYLT pants/shorts
Have you tried using dish soap for the oil stains?
Great review, bro.
Great review! Like!
Does it shrink?
I have the shirts and weekend pants from bylt...the only thing I have a problem with is the pants the wrinkles don't come out at all...I have a size large in them...after months of use when I stand up from sitting down I have to constantly pull the pants down from my calf ..its like they shrunk on my calf...and u always skip leg day!
