That engine doesn’t doesn’t sound blown or appear to have any misfires when he got on it. That build up is usually due to short distance drives or a failing oil filter housing gasket. That smoke cleared up as soon as the motor heated up from him driving. An oil change and ofhg replacement would’ve been a good first start.

I agree with this. My N54 would look like that (10 mile round trip commute) but as soon as i heat up the oil and put miles on it, shes good to go.

It’s a common fault in U.K. with N54 335i engine issues. Experienced it fully myself and heard countless times of others suffering engine issues & problems. Is it a design fault from BMW? A great car when they’re perfect. Bmw means break my wallet!! 🇬🇧

ik you have more subs than him but your videos would be so much better if you followed ThicWhip's format of videos. Each of his video is succinct and has a clear goal for a modification for the car. Makes it much more interesting to watch the full video. I feel like your videos are a bit all over the place with all these random cars coming and going. It's much more enjoyable to watch a car being rebuilt with quality time and effort instead of just recycling cars for videos.
