My mom lives in Claremont so I often take Metrolink to see her. So, I get to see all the construction going on, which I’m very happy about. Also, I’m older than dirt and I once took the Southwest Chief from the old Pomona station nearby to Chicago.
Great to see the progress. Can't wait to ride it all the way to Pomona. Thanks. The Metrolink might get more ridership because passengers can disembark at the Pomona station and take the A line to places where the Metrolink doesn't stop.
Of course, thanks for commenting too! Both Metrolink and the A line should benefit from that Pomona station, it’ll also allow a separate way around disruptions on Metrolink or the A line
I have friends in Azusa. Currently, I could take the Metro A Line from Union Station. However, I wonder if once the Pomona station is open if it would be faster to take Metrolink to Pomona and then take the A Line to Azusa.
Sad to see that the transfer path looks to have been made lengthy and circuitous do to the Construction Authority wanting to save money. Any idea where the Turnstiles iles and Faregates will be installed??
A line is getting an east extension plus future high-speed trains. In the meantime, the Southeast Gateway Line doesn’t even exist yet.The southeast part of LA Metro does not exist at this point.
Yes I want them to expedite the southeast gateway project especially but metro seems to be moving slow, hopefully one day we can see it become a reality.

Glad you to see the future of North Pomona Metro A line station
Yes me too! It’s cool to see the progress so far
