There were so many of those white Sport Sedans, my grandmother had one identical to the Impala shown here. I passed my PA driver's test in it, 1971! Seems like there should have placed it on display in the lobby.🇺🇸👍🏾

Very interesting. When I was working in Milwaukee, WI I had a customer at the body shop where I worked who said that his father had been the general manager of the plant from the time it opened in 1966. He was driving a Lordstown built Chevrolet Cruze. Imagine that.

I wish the McDonalds Big Mac was as big as it was in 1978 .

I think my great aunt & uncle owned it... a white 66 sedan 327 turbo-fire, in Duck Hill, Ms. it was traded in 86 on a 86 caprice & is still there in the area, if it's... "the 1"

When a Chevy WAS a Chevy. I don't know what this mess is today. Defects, litigation, recalls galore. You can't tell whether they're stereos, washing machines, TVs, or what nots.

I'm surprised that they didn't wait a couple of months and start production in July with the 67 models.

And you will never get that proof, if that car was crushed lm sure it was a long time ago, and l doubt very much those records are still around from wherever it was crushed and who knows if that exact place still exists...

the future brings closer you guys were lucky roger Smith wanted Norwood to stay open and close lordestown the only thing that saved it it was the 3rd newest plant in the system in 86 but there workers at that time were pretty bad.

Why put 1st car graphics on a car that is obviously not the 1st car. Kinda silly, I agree!
