Thank you all for the love on these TSITP reactions... we'll definitely be covering Season 3 when it drops! Stay tuned for our next live-action reactions to 'Young Royals' coming soon!! ❤
She is definitely selfish, and this whole scenario is super messy. But it’s not impossible to imagine she loves them both. They’re not two random boys she goes to school with. She grew up with them! They have loved each other and developed true friendships and trust over their whole lives. Susannah was in the hospital room when Belly was born, literally. Friendship is the best foundation for a lasting relationship and she has that with both boys. Throw in that their mom has been pushing this for years, mixed with intense teenage hormones… I don’t think it’s a leap to see why Belly could convince herself of having deep feelings for both boys.
Jere has every right to be in love with her since they’ve been childhood besties and Belly was always someone special to him.. She is not just “his brother’s ex” and I think season 2 showed that pretty well
I’ve said it once- I’ll say it again… Conrad was Susannah’s CHOICE. Jeremiah was BELLY’S CHOICE. Conrad was a childhood crush that wasn’t what it was all cracked up to be in the end. Belly chose the fantasy instead of the REAL LOVE that she had with her Best Friend! She will always have feelings for Conrad-They grew up together. But that doesn’t mean she can’t move on and fall in love again…
coz he imagines belly will fall out of love with conrad as easily as he falls in and out of love with others. conrad is the kinda guy who will stay in love even if silently, with her forever so when he sees her with jer he imagines thts the end game and his heart got ripped up...Jer also looks at conrad as his competiton tht he needs to take down, conrad is more i want the world to be happy so i guess ill suffer in silence kind.
Bigger than the whole sky started playing and I cried. Then, exile started playing and I died. Like (in Conrad's words) my chest physically hurts every time I watch that scene
Belly's assessment of Conrad at the end wasn't wrong. I'm pretty sure she knew he was lying about not wanting her anymore, hence her disappointment. By 2x08, Jere was fully open about how he felt towards her and willing to let her go, showing a lot of growth from his past self. When he thought she was gonna pick Conrad, he not once backtracked on his feelings, always being vulnerable and open with her. From the moment they got on good terms again, they were constantly communicating and working through their issues with clear words, something she never really had with Conrad. And Conrad only proves her right by taking back his words, because neither Jere nor Belly wanted him to lie for the sake of their relationship or whatever. All they ever wanted from him was honesty, for C to let them both in. Instead, he keeps doing what he does best: pretending he isn't hurt and distancing himself when things get though. Which is why even if she gave him another chance there, they wouldn't have worked, not right now.
Exactly - Conrad needs to grow up emotionally. The way he's acting is manipulative and that's why I don't get the Team Conrad people. Maybe because I'm almost 40 and I've dated men like Conrad and it's so painful.
@@JenniHartmanim team conrad, and i dont get it when you said conrad is manipulative. I'm not disagreeing, I'm genuinely curious what does that mean, can u explain it for me
@@nadhifazachrad279 How many instances do you need. How about he kept pursuing her, only later to push her away. He sent her the message about deb, immediately after Steven told him the rumour about Belly and Jere. How about when he goes to Jeremiah, guilt trips him to get his blessing, knowing fully aware he isn't OK with it, then goes to Belly, tells her Jere is doing great and going on dates, and is completely over her. Then brings her back to the house for Thanksgiving, parades her as his GF in front of Jeremiah. Jere was mature enough to even be at that table. Anyone else would've walked outta there. But you guys don't really want to see it being team Conrad. That's perfectly understandable.
Nooo, I don’t want these reactions to end! Thank you for a few weeks of this, I came across your channel through TSITP and I have loved watching you guys! ❤️
Honestly this episode solidified for me why even tho at some points I was torn between ships I always ended up leaning more towards Jere with Belly. He showed so much maturity and growth in this last episode that I was honestly proud of him and when you compare how he acted with how Conrad acted it's a no brainer why he was the better choice. For me the season ended beautifully and I'd be seriously happy would it have been the series finale too bc I honestly can't see how to be pleased to see Conrad and Belly together again. They simply don't work and he never changes. Plus, out of the three, Jeremiah is the one I love the most so I really don't want to see him get his heart broken again
He act mature in one scene while acting childish in both szn. All of them are teenagers & has flaws & made mistakes. It's how they learn & growth onwards. Let's wait for szn3.
@@ingyinn6077 he act mature in 1 scene? girl have you even been paying attention to this season? Jeremiah has matured throughout this season, certainly more mature than Conrad was.
Them cutting some of Conrad's worse lines/actions and then cutting some of Jere's best just makes me wanna scream. Like them cutting the part where he says "he's the one who wants you, I never did" also the candy thing when in the book only Jeremiah went and got her a snack and she did like swedish fish.
This!!! It’s so frustrating…I truly believe they had to do this because book Conrad wouldn’t translate well on screen in 2023. Like 2 straight seasons of Conrad exactly the way he is in the books, it would make it hard for people to root for him, especially if there never read the books.
The candy scene was the silliest scene in the finale, IMO. The writers want us to believe Jere knows her favorite pie, remembers she liked strawberry daiquiris from the club because they came with the little umbrellas (Susannah couldn’t believe he remembered that), and he remembered her counselor saying Finch was an option (Belly couldn’t believe he remembered), yet they expect us believe Jere doesn’t know what candy she likes and doesn’t like? He knows lol. And people who read the book know this scene was basically re-written differently from the books to completely favor Conrad.
This episode was the GAME CHANGER! A scene you all left out of this cut but I think was the biggest clue on who is gonna be end game was the conversation belly has in the bathroom on the phone with her mother & it’s not a scene in the book so it’s intentionally added in. Laurel: What I felt for your dad was steady was like a cozy campfire that will keep me warm all through the night. Belly: but that wasn’t enough Laurel: I guess not Belly: have you ever felt fireworks with anyone Laurel: once but it was never gonna work out.. fire would have burned us both alive Belly: but it didn’t work out with dad either so how do you know when it’s the right person Laurel: you’ll know when you want to be with that person no matter what..too hot too safe..you won’t care you’ll just feel right. Too safe- Cameron Too hot- Conrad Jeremiah- the perfect balance of both🥹🤧 & to further think about it. Laurel married her version of Cameron & it didn’t work out. Susannah married her version of Conrad & it didn’t work out. But Belly will marry her Jeremiah & get the happy ending her mom & Susannah didn’t get🥹
@@xapokalypse in my opinion there is literally no backing for Conrad to be both. He’s the fireworks & he’s always been described as such by Belly. However, Jere gets both sides for example in season 1 when they first kiss she literally says “it felt real… & real is scary” & then in season 1 again when they make out in Jeremiah’s car she says “I was always scared for when this moment would come but weirdly I’m totally fine because it’s Jeremiah” Jere is both he’s absolutely both.
It was really nice to see Belly choosing Jere, when Conrad took back what he said again I think she realized she made the right choice! ♥ I'm scared for next season cause I love Jeremiah and who knows what's gonna happen... Great reactions guys I'm gonna miss it.
i just wanna say, props to Jeremiah for being so mature. Everyone calls him immature and childish but no one can deny that he handled this situation with maturity and grace, even if it caused him pain, he just wanted Belly and Conrad to be happy with each other if its what BOTH of them want. my poor baby😭
As a Conrad girl I cried when Bigger than the whole sky played and then we got hit with Exile But everyone who read the books knows what’s coming with the letters so I’m fine I did like the XO kiss and Team Staylor
@@beesturgeon8955to me it means they’re not changing it because they showed us the letters getting mixed up. idk why they would show us that if it didn’t mean anything
@@beesturgeon8955the ending is definitely not changing bc why show us the letters getting mixed up if we’re not getting that book scene? it would make no sense
The reason why Conrad was just backing down, and telling belly that he doesn’t want her anymore when she comes into the motel room. Is because he saw them kiss, you can clearly see they kissed just outside the window of the motel. And the blinds were open. Conrad already saw them so he decided to be the bigger person.
How is him taking it back being the bigger person? Belly chose Jeremiah, so him taking it back has no influence on her decision or her and Jere’s relationship. She chose Jere before Conrad took it back, him wanting to be with her didn’t change her mind about who she wants now, so him taking it back is either him trying to save his own feelings or him still playing games with her.
@@AJ35486 he does want her lol, but he sees that his brother likes her too. so he made a choice for all of them, so belly and jere can be happy, even if he isn’t.
@@crystalpritchard5065 belly was influenced throughout the entire season on her decision, Steven blaming her saying “you had Jeremiah, but you just had to have Conrad too.” Even her best friend continuously saying how bad Conrad is, because of a breakup that he didn’t even do. Conrad saying that is him stepping up and making a decision for everyone. A decision that only made belly and Jeremiah happy.
@@lavaaagirl just in the show it’s a non decision, Belly decided, she chose Jeremiah. If Conrad hadn’t taken back what he said, she still chose Jeremiah. So he may have been removing himself for his own sake, but the show Belly already removed him, she’d already made her choice. It’s like if I didn’t invite a friend to a party and then they told me they weren’t going to come for my sake, you weren’t invited in the first place. I get that the dynamic is different in the books, but based on the show, it just comes across as more mind games from Conrad when Jere was willing to be honest, even if it meant getting hurt.
Idc what anyone says Jeremiah is my baby and going out there and talking to Conrad was honestly one of my fav scenes of this season. He could’ve just left with Belly , but they’re brothers and that should always come first !
GIRL PREACH! Because, Jeremiah is genuinely a good person. If he wasn't he wouldn't have had that conversation with Conrad. That would have NEVER taken place. He wouldn't have pushed for Connie to talk to Belly if he didn't love Conrad. AND Belly. He gets so much hate (not only his character but Gavin as well) and I completely don't understand why. If the shoe was on the other foot and this was Conrad... everyone would be swooning over him and taking up for him. They (bonrad girls) love to say Jere "cheated" in the third book (I personally wouldn't call it cheating bc they were broken up) but that's what they say. Well, he hasn't "cheated" in the show. So, forgetting about the books and just focusing on the show... I would ask the Bonrad girlies... Why hate Jere? He hasn't done anything yet. Hence, the firecracker. Was that safe? Should he have done that? No, he shouldn't have. But, they both made it. Nobody got hurt. So, looking at this information... what's left? Nothing to me. Jere is getting so much hate for no reason at all. He's so overlooked and I can't stand it. Anyways, TEAM JEREMIAH FISHER FOR LIFE!
@@mj.carter YOU SAID NOTHING BUT FACTS👏🏾 heavy on book 3 bc they were not together it wasn’t cheating . I only fault him bc he def wasn’t gonna tell her and he didn’t really help w the wedding
Honeslty I’m team Anti-Belly. I know she still love Conrad even though she “evicted him from her heart”. I just have a feeling she might play with Jere and get with Con and tear the relationship between the brother even more. Belly is so annoying and if I was Jere and Con I would dump her and get rid of her from my life. I would definitely have trust issues with her, and she tore Jere and Con apart.
I’m genuinely worried for the next season- I love Jeremiah so much as a character it’s going to hurt so bad if they actually make her go back to Conrad 😭
They will do that but im guessing this will be the last season? So if she switches again there would be no one there for Jer romantically unless they force a relationship on him again to make it a "happy ending where everyone gets a partner" like they often do in shows and movies. I need Jer to get introduced to a different character but make it a slow burn and that seems very unlikely. This is also one of the reasons I didn't like the Cam Skye dynamic because it was so unnecessary and forced
@@kamipassmore867no they were like separated for a week so they took a breath to it’s was a break from each other but not a break up if that makes sense
We always love these reactions! This story is about a love triangle, that includes 3 people, let's accept it as an option, even if it ends, that's how it works. They might not be brothers, but they are and that brings drama that makes the show more interesting, raises discussions and differing opinions. everything happens quickly and wrongly, but they are young, weeks seem like months, we have all been intense in that way.
team conrad forever, cause belly is the issue, not conrad. Also, jere is facing the consequences of his own action...lets not forget that he blew up the fireworks to break the kiss between con and belly, if he hadn't done that, maybe everyone's feelings would be much clearer.
conrad is absolutely an issue. Belly and conrad are equally fucked up only difference being belly has way less emotional baggage and she is still just as bad as conrad
He was mature before he knew she picked him. He told Conrad it doesn’t feel like she picked him and that she only did because she didn’t know she still had a chance with Con. He also fully expected before the XO kiss that she was going to choose Conrad, and he told her they will always be ok.
Note the window they were standing right in front of when they kissed. Super convinced he saw them kissing AGAIN. It would be the side of the bed where he would have folded up his blankets from the night before. So ready for the next season!
Right lmao the coach holding a grudge and embarrassing her instead of talking to her one on one like a professional coach, as if belly wasn’t fucking captain for three years foh😂
Yea belly’s feelings for jer just aren’t as strong as her feelings for Conrad bc when she kisses him she blacks out like in a dream which I assume is a good thing, and with Jer she thinks about kissing him and they makeout and stuff so it’s kinda more lust than love, like besties who are just attracted to each other basically and are pretty temporary
It’s pretty convoluted. I’ve read the books; I’m incredibly curious to see how they handle the last season. But I love all the main characters; and it’s been enjoyable rewatching these along with you guys!
LISTENNNNN I’m team Jere , but to kiss Conrad brother on Conrad car at Conrad school with Conrad sweatshirt on had me feeling so bad for him ngl . Then she wanted to leave him and take HIS car I was like damn Belly in her villain era
So I think the biggest moment in this episode was actually the Belly and Susannah scene because that set up this entire season for Belly if you think about it. Belly promises to take care of Conrad which she did by finding him with Jere, helping save the house, helped him get into Stanford and even tried to tell him that she was starting to have feelings for Jere so he wouldn't get hurt even though he did. Then Belly sees Jeremiah for the first time in like 6 months and sees how he isn't the "sunshine boy" plus everything his been doing for Susannah. In that moment Belly realized how much she really fucked up her relationship with Jere and it broke her heart all over again which is why she started to cry again. Thats why she calls Jere at the end if episode 1 and apologized to him during episode 2. Also, I believe this was the first time Belly saw Jere as a man and not the immature boy she used to know which is why she tells him in episode 7 that they both grew up.
honestly belly and Jeremiah are so wrong for making out on Conrad's car, at Conrad's school, also while wearing Conrad's sweatshirt. anyways conrad was so funny this season I love him
Great reactions guys! I think it will be interesting how Season 3 plays out. I honestly wish none of them had ever dated each other, but it is what it is now. Unfortunately, Conrad can’t or won’t be vulnerable enough to say how he feels to Belly and she just can’t deal with the pain that comes with dating Conrad. I get it. You can love someone but it doesn’t mean that person will ever be right for you. And trying to hold on will just hurt you more. Jere and Belly seem to understand each other well and can talk about their feelings openly. These two have good communication which is the foundation for any and every relationship.
The movie is so much worse than the book, I mean they kill a completely different character. The book was poetic and tragic and beautiful, the movie ruined the story.
I'm a conrad girlie 100% but what pisses me off the most about him is his lack of communication and his inability to express his feelings not only to belly but literally everybody around him
I REALLLY didn’t like Conrad in this episode. I prefer being straight upset like Jeremiah was vs. Passive Aggressive like that bothers me so much! Omfggg he was a jerk lolll. Like BFFR be real!
What a good finale! This episode I was super impressed by how maturely Jeremiah handled everything. I’m proud of him being the one to tell Belly she needed to talk to Conrad, and being the first one to tell Conrad that he just wants the both of them to be happy, and that he’ll step aside if she chooses him. His growth this season has been amazing! I’m really proud of Belly too. She finally realized how Conrad is, and that it isn’t her job to fix him. Nobody can say after this episode, that Belly didn’t choose Jere of her own free will. I’m glad they had her choose Jere even after Conrad admitted his feelings. To me, she was fully showing that she was falling in love with Jere from 2x04 onward. I mean she was consistently pursuing him for half the season. I do think she’s totally over Conrad at the moment. I’m not sure what’s going to happen in season 3, but short of completely destroying Belly and Jeremiah’s characters, (which would be extremely disappointing) I don’t see how they would make Conrad and Belly get back together. Jeremiah is just infinitely better for Belly than Conrad. I can’t wait to see them in a relationship! Also, Lola and Gavin’s chemistry continues to be perfection. I can’t believe we got XO by Beyoncé! That was iconic.
This season just really showed how infinitely better than Conrad, Jeremiah is. Jere literally dated her first, and when Conrad went after her, all he said was "oh, Jere will get over it, he never takes anything seriously", but as soon as they do the exact same thing to him he becomes the pettiest little bitch ever. Meanwhile Jere wa sout there thinking about everyones feelings, trying to make everyone have a conversation before making any decisions
I see your points but Conrad was blindsided by the fact that Jeremiah and Belly hooked up. Conrad didn't know that they hooked up until after him and Belly kissed. He was under the impression Jeremiah went with Belly to the Deb ball last minute because she couldn't find anyone else. He didn't know Jeremiah liked Belly like that and Jeremiah knew Conrad & Belly both liked each other in season 1 along with everyone else in that house that knew the same thing. Jeremiah put himself in the perfect position to get hurt knowing well beforehand that Conrad & Belly both liked each other and it was only a matter of time before it happened along with the fact that they would have definitely kissed on fourth of july if jeremiah didn't purposely interrupt their kiss. I understand why he was hurt this season but I don't understand why he was surprised if that makes sense. I mean Jeremiah got with belly knowing she had a crush a Conrad. Cameron went into everything blind and still took it way better than Jeremiah but honestly as a team conrad person, respect to jeremiah for at least trying not to get into a relationship with belly again because he definitely was right with his first thoughts. I mean they had just made up from the almost year long argument from what happened last summer and belly was already ready for a round two? Belly honestly needed to chill this season when it came to jeremiah instead of rushing things. Belly knew that the brothers relationship has been strained for almost a year unintentionally because of her. Their mom just died and they needed time to rekindle their brotherhood as well as coming together in grief but we all know what really happened so... Yeah.
Jerr never dated her last summer... they just kissed a few times. Belly and Conrad dated for 9 months and just broke up a few weeks prior. Different situations
@@katek1905I’m not saying they didn’t date for a long time, just pointing out they started actually dating in October and broke up at prom, which was sometime around April, because we know she died before graduation but after prom, so they dated somewhere between 6-7 months. Just chatting timeline.
@@katek1905Not at all. She has just as much history with Jeremiah as she does with Conrad. A kiss between them was never gonna be just a kiss. It’s meaningful and the length of time doesn’t really matter.
It's so interesting how differently people see things. For me, Belly and Conrad never felt like a proper couple simply because it seemed like an unhealthy wish fulfillment on Belly's end, as well as her running from her unexpected feelings for Jer, and a victory on Conrad's (i.e. he kept rejecting her knowing she had a crush, but as soon as he realized Jeremiah may want her in S1, he pursued her again). Belly and Jeremiah just present as a more well-developed couple to me and have since S1. The ending of S2 feels like how it should have always been.
But belly and jere don’t also feel like an couple it’s so one sided like clearly belly doesn’t feel that much for him and he feels more. They never even established they had a few kisses and that’s all. I feel like neither brother had a "good" relationship with belly
@@fatoumatacisse3796 I disagree that belly clearly doesn’t feel that much for Jere. In my personal opinion, she clearly does, and Jenny Han and Lola both said in an interview Jeremiah is who Belly is falling in love with right now. But just for me and my opinion, I love the slow burn build up to Belly and Jeremiah. We actually get the see their relationship evolve, and her regret she let him go, want a second chance, and her fight for that second chance.
@@fatoumatacisse3796 I disagree. In S1, when Taylor and Belly are talking about her first kiss with Jeremiah, Belly says something along the lines that Conrad was always a fantasy, but with Jeremiah it was real, which was scary. Taylor replied "isn't love supposed to be scary?" This moment signifies that Belly was at least falling in love with Jeremiah during that time. In fact, in that season, Belly blatantly tells Steven he has no right to tell her who to date and she chose Jeremiah. Jeremiah also implies to Steven that Belly is different for him than those he hooked up with in the past and, the morning after the deb ball, wants to tell the family about them before Belly breaks his heart. Their kisses held a lot more weight than simply "hooking up", as Steven and Conrad like to believe, to the point that Jeremiah thought they were starting a relationship and Belly told Steven they were dating. This has never been one-sided. Belly clearly had feelings for Jeremiah in S1, it freaked her out, and then she got a chance with her childhood fantasy and took it. But, a season later, she realizes her fantasy didn't live up to reality and she recognizes that she screwed up something real with Jeremiah. Hence why Belly emphasizes the word "real" when expressing her feelings to Jeremiah. She's telling him she wasn't ready for her feelings for him in S1, but now she is and is ready to build a relationship with him.
I get the whole mindset of there being another season so plenty of time for another switch up and being worried about whether she'll stay with Jere because of that, but honestly they have done so much work in the writing to lay the groundwork for Jellyfish to be endgame that if they aren't, I'll be shocked. Jeremiah pined away for Belly for years and never once tried to shoot his shot out of respect for her feelings for Conrad because he knew about that crush and just wanted her to be happy. Then, after he finally does admit to how he feels, Conrad swoops in and Jere ends up stepping aside to give them a shot at it because Belly just needs to get that crush out of her system. She does, Bonrad has a decent run, but it was always a case of 'be careful what you wish for, you just might get it'. When she says "I evict you from my heart." that line is epic and that feels like a concrete choice here. 🤷 Honestly, at this point, if she switches back to Conrad I will lose respect for her. I always ship poly endings, but no show has had the courage to go that route with a main love triangle so far and I don't imagine this will be the show that breaks the mold, unfortunately 🙄 So, if I can't have my throuple, then it's Jellyfish (and Swedish fish, sorry not sorry at all) all the way! 🤣😂
instead of asking why he would want to date someone who likes his brother, we should be asking why HE would want to date her knowing very well that his BROTHER is in love with her? like that in itself should’ve made him back off if he was actually a good guy. he just wanted to say that belly chose him and not Conrad.
Why should he be the one to back off? He’s been in love with her for just as long if not longer so why should he let her go again? He had his chance with her and blew it and if you’re gonna pull up the Susannah excuse Jeremiah lost her too. He gave him the chance to say his piece so she could make her choice and he pussied out again. Jere is not the bad guy here. He fought for her even the fireworks was him fighting for his chance with her. He said if it was anyone else he’d fight like hell so you know he is capable. Would you give up on your first love? Because from what it’s looking like you’d pull a Conrad
Honestly after reading the books and watching the show, it’s just so clear that the only reason belly becomes so adamant on giving Jeremiah a shot is because she has been so hurt by Conrad and his lack of communication and self sabotaging that she didn’t want to allow herself to get hurt again. When they broke up she was super selfish and not understanding of Conrad whatsoever. She wanted to force him to be excited about things that he just couldn’t be excited about because his mom was dying aka the prom, she wanted to force him to tell her everything he was feeling which is valid, but her knowing how he is she should’ve been more patient and understanding. When he couldn’t be what she wanted she just made the choice for him to break up and that’s literally what he didn’t want. They had a lot of issues because of lack of communication and honestly everything could’ve been prevented if they had been able to be honest with each other. I stand with the feeling that Belly felt obligated to give Jeremiah a chance because she felt guilty about how she played with his feelings, and that’s why she convinces her self to do what she does in the last book with Jeremiah, when in the end she realizes all along that it’s always been Conrad.
Belly’s seriously in denial I mean Conrad wouldn’t be hurt or acting like a passive aggressive dick if he was over her lmao, the break up is still fresh and we all know she’ll go back to him if she knows he feels the same way. Tho she’s just waiting on him to prove himself ready for her again
Conrad needs to address his mental health before he can be any good for someone else. That’s what Cleveland taught him during their talk on the boat (not sure what ep). He needs to address his inner demons. Hope he can do that while dealing with the stress of being pre-med.
Belly is the queen of being in denial. She even says that if Conrad goes to Stanford that they might finally be able to let each other go. That doesn’t sound like a girl who moved on. I love belly and I would want her with Jere if she was fully over Conrad but she isn’t. She just doesn’t want to get hurt and she thinks Conrad doesn’t love her. Belly needs more Than two months to get over Conrad and get with his brother.
She was with Jere for 2 years after this… That’s says ALOT! She loves Jere… I don’t know why that’s so hard to believe for people. Friends to lovers is a BIG trope… Conrad was a CRUSH-Belly’s crush… That isn’t LOVE- it’s infatuation…
@@tameracoates398 I never said she didn’t love Jere during the two years or that she doesn’t have feelings for him now. I’m just saying that belly is being in denial about her feelings for Conrad. A week ago she was madly in love with him and now she’s not it doesn’t make sense. And I’m not saying she can’t get over Conrad just that she isn’t at this point in time and as of right now she is using Jere because she won’t admit her feelings for Conrad and she doesn’t want to get hurt by Conrad. It doesn’t mean she doesn’t have feelings for Jere just that she is in denial about her feelings for Conrad.

And not because she was in love with Conrad- Because of his insecurities and fears of never being good enough-Which is something that has been instilled in him all his life- Thats what is heartbreaking! Conrad was a rebound- Years after her and Jere ended it and Conrad’s forced letters is why she ended back with Conrad- She would have married Jere- That says ALOT!
@@iiiiii7739 She was over Conrad. The comparisons come in because outside of Jere, Conrad was all she knew. Don’t act like we don’t all do that. We compare, it’s natural. Doesn’t mean you’re not over someone. Moments that got completely ignored in the show. And they HAD to be ignored because Jere would just look TO GOOD-Too obvious over Conrad. And the show didn’t want that. The show even took sweet comments from Jere in the book and gave them to Conrad in the show. Sweetish fish was her favorite in the books. And Conrad never got her anything from that gas station. Jere knew she was hungry and got out in the pouring rain to get her something. Conrad stayed moping in the car. There are so many things like this- Which is why Conrad and Belly make no sense to me- It’s just the toxic love trend that irritates me- The good guy finishes last trope… Jere was too good for her anyway- I’m glad he finally walked away.
Jeremiah reaction vs Conrad reaction (who's mature) Jeremiah (he was biggest Belly Cam shipper) 1:After he knew belly kissed Conrad, He started crying and yelling, 2:Asked her to get out of room 3:Said you are not my friend anymore 4:Ignored her calls whole year 5:Asked Conrad to inform him If Belly is coming to family gathering because he doesn't want to be around them 6:Used his mother cancer as excuse to make her guilty 7:Guilt tripping Conrad reaction She was his ex, he saw them kissing on his car in front of his campus, his reaction was fair, 1:After few patty jokes he apologized 2:He said we can be friends 3:Asked them to come on 4th of July 4:Said he was OK with them So now tell me who's mature but try to look beyond Jere ocean blue eyed please
I love how you intentionally just listed jere's bad qualities and listed conrad's good qualities. Like, your not proving any points here. If you wanted to prove a point, you should have listed both good and bad examples (for both brothers) instead you decided to drag jeremiah and praise conrad. So I'll do it for you! Jere: Good qualities: took care of his moms medical bills, went looking for conrad even though he was mad at him/helped him, handled the car ride maturely, gave up the invite to play video games and instead stayed to watch belly play, the talk with conrad (when he basically was going to give up belly bc he wanted both belly and con to be happy), saying there won't be a repeat of last summer, helping con study, giving conrad his blessing to date belly. Con: Bad qualities: mentioning how many people jere hooked up with, belittling jere and belly (car ride), telling everyone to "grow up", making belly go on the tower of terror when he knew she was scared, his whole attitude, leaving belly at prom, forgetting corsage, not communicating with belly (or anyone), leaving college, holding belly's hand in front of jere knowing it would upset him, being distant. And let's be truthfully honest. How would you react if the girl that you thought actually liked you, just kissed your brother, who you thought she was over? Like, what was he supposed to do? Jump up and down and say, good job, im so happy for you? Like? Be fr. And the whole not calling situation... he mentioned that he wanted to in episode 5 but couldn't work up the nerve to. And the fourth of july thing... wow, so mature *says sarcastically*. And they had already decided to be friends in episode 7 and it wasn't conrad who said it, it was belly. :) Oh and about jere being a big cam supporter... at least he cared enough for belly to not be weird around them when they were doing couple things. Which, conrad had trouble with considering he crashed her first date and all. So immature of him. Honestly. NOW... it's fair. Your welcome :)
@@mj.carter as far as I remember jere doesn't have any job, paid bills with his mother's money, and he wasn't alone with susena Laural was also with susena in her last days
@@ns8671 ok but he was in school and his mom was dying it wouldn't make sense for him to have a job. and as far as i remember, laurel and jere were the only ones who stuck by her to the very end. jere didn't even want to go to his senior banquet bc he didn't wanna leave his mom. while conrad and belly had their little romantic adventures. yes, i understand that conrad was in college but those times when he was off with belly, he could have been with his mom. jere is a good person, you just don't want to admit it. and all you have to say is about the medical bills? why not talk about some of the nasty things that i mentioned conrad did? or some of the nice things jere did? why just the medical bills?
@@mj.carter Bro calm down you guys don't let him live and don't want him to die, Belly broke up with him, he's the bad person, and yes Laural was with Them, that's Belly said she didn't give her enough time, what are you talking about, and since he didn't movie an inch to earn money so he could pay bills so stop using it..
11:20 they were not dating a month ago, a few months had passed, also id like to add that belly and jere were bestfriends and she was a lot closer to him than too conrad also she kissed Jere first and led him on!! also the way he found out belly chose conrad was also scarring considering she told him the morning after jere finds out his moms cancer came back and that conrad knew and didnt tell him for months
I thought Conrad being sassy was such a funny scene and Chris was clearly having fun w it but I didn’t think it canonically made sense because Susannah and everyone says Jere always knows what belly likes and they both grew up w her so for Conrad to be like “did you know she gets car sick” or the Jere not knowing she likes sour patch kids makes no sense to me
Loved you reaction! I liked that she didn't go back to Conrad in this episode and actually maintained her choice of picking Jere. I was so frustrated with Conrad this episode, like Belly said at the end, "He gives and then he takes away." He lacks communication skills, like he can never say what he truly means, or fight for what he truly wants. Jere on the other hand at no point took back what he said he felt for Belly, he always communicates with her and vice versa. Belly knew that Conrad was lying about him not having feelings for her and she was just disappointed at him for lying, and understanding that they could not be together in that very moment. He is not mentally prepared to be in a relationship. Jere was a really good brother this episode and friend to Belly, he gave them both their space to say what they wanted to each other and to choose, he respected them and wanted them both to be happy no matter what the outcome was. I do feel bad for Conrad at the end, him having a panic attack and all, I feel like he clearly needs therapy and to talk to someone more than he needs a girlfriend. Belly's goodbye scene with Susannah was so sad, I was balling. Can't wait for season 3 to come out!
Loved all the reactions especially to the passive aggressive Conrad because it was a lot! Also just mentioning Jere and Belly get creative that made me laugh out loud Zeff! Jere really was the best! I was very happy with this finale!
Watching your reactions actually made me a lot more sympathetic towards Conrad but it is still very hard for me to ship bonrad because of how inconsistent and mean he’s been to her and how he’s shown such little growth.
I really thought last episode would’ve ended on a cliffy and had no idea there was another episode till a week after it came out 😂 but yea it ended exactly how I thought bc like I said we all know who endgame is and there’s one more season so who knows, Jer can have her for now but I have no idea what to expect next szn other than her ending her senior year off with a graduation and reconciling with Conrad and here’s hoping he returns from Stanford a better man, welcoming belly with open arms
Tbh, yeah, I get it. Conrad and Belly dated for maybe like 9 months after both crushing Jeremiah's heart. Expecting Jere to be cool with it when he clearly wasn't (come on, Conrad should've known better, or maybe he just didn't care enough - that sucks), and then moving on to hook up with Belly? Not the best move. I mean, imagine dating the girl your bro hooked up first and expect him to be okay there and then? It's not like he didn't know... And him scoring that forced and begged-for blessing from Jeremiah? (I don't even recall an apology beforehand. Conrad just went and like, "Hey Jere, please give me Belly or else I might die.") Pretty bold and thoughtless. Asking a favor like that from his own brother (especially when Jeremiah's the best bro ever) and without acknowledging he messed up with Jeremiah first in the season 1 finale to season 2 pilot - that's just not cool. I mean, the amount of times did Jeremiah gave way his own feelings for their happiness is beyond amazing. I'm really pulling for Jelly to be endgame. But if Bonrad takes the lead in the next season, it better be worth all the heartbreaks it's sure to bring. Let's hope for the best outcome. But endgame Jelly though? What a game-changer for real bro.
12:37 yeah Conrad’s mom was literally dying and he had EVERY right to be sad and angry but that doesn’t change or devalue the fact that belly was hurt by his actions.
I know Conrad was wrong for taking back his confession to Belly but really, I understand him. He's petty because his ex-girlfriend and brother made out twice while he's forgotten. He's leaving for California, he is intentionally cutting ties with them for his sake. He wanted to prove to himself that he doesn't love her anymore because it hurts him to love her. He was (trying to) evict her from his heart as well. Yes, it was immature, but damn I'd be immature too. I'm glad he's going to college across the country to escape that pain and grow emotionally so he can become a better man for Belly when he returns
This is stupid, but I keep wondering how Conrad felt when Belly gave him his Brown sweatshirt back. You know, it probably had her lingering scent on it. He probably sleeps with it. I thought we’d see that before the end of the episode. Self torture is Conrad’s favorite.
The breakup had to happen and she has to date Jer in order for her and con to grow and for her to realize she still truly loved him before they get back together happier and healthier cause clearly the first time they got together wasn’t the right time

Its insane to me how she can so easily jump back and forth between brothers and claim to love them . Thats not love that’s selfishness.
@@j.s.viewer3923 it’s one thing to convince yourself that you are in love with both, but you definitely are not

Jere has every right to be in love with her since they’ve been childhood besties and Belly was always someone special to him.. She is not just “his brother’s ex” and I think season 2 showed that pretty well
I’ve said it once- I’ll say it again…
Conrad was Susannah’s CHOICE.
But that doesn’t mean she can’t move on and fall in love again…

sassy conrad is everything 😍 😂😂❤❤
To me it was like a "oh, so he'd really put me through that bs again had I picked him" moment for her
Ugh perfectly said
Exactly - Conrad needs to grow up emotionally. The way he's acting is manipulative and that's why I don't get the Team Conrad people. Maybe because I'm almost 40 and I've dated men like Conrad and it's so painful.

Then brings her back to the house for Thanksgiving, parades her as his GF in front of Jeremiah. Jere was mature enough to even be at that table. Anyone else would've walked outta there.
@@KS1211-gd3vl people just shouldn't root for him :))) I'm joking I definitely understand this it just still makes me mad lol
@@ChristinaSchriner oh boo fucking hoo
The candy scene was the silliest scene in the finale, IMO. The writers want us to believe Jere knows her favorite pie, remembers she liked strawberry daiquiris from the club because they came with the little umbrellas (Susannah couldn’t believe he remembered that), and he remembered her counselor saying Finch was an option (Belly couldn’t believe he remembered), yet they expect us believe Jere doesn’t know what candy she likes and doesn’t like? He knows lol. And people who read the book know this scene was basically re-written differently from the books to completely favor Conrad.
I am LIVING for unhinged Conrad.

Belly: but that wasn’t enough
Laurel: I guess not
Belly: have you ever felt fireworks with anyone
Laurel: once but it was never gonna work out.. fire would have burned us both alive
Belly: but it didn’t work out with dad either so how do you know when it’s the right person
Laurel: you’ll know when you want to be with that person no matter what..too hot too safe..you won’t care you’ll just feel right.
Too safe- Cameron
Too hot- Conrad
Jeremiah- the perfect balance of both🥹🤧
& to further think about it.

However, Jere gets both sides for example in season 1 when they first kiss she literally says “it felt real… & real is scary” & then in season 1 again when they make out in Jeremiah’s car she says “I was always scared for when this moment would come but weirdly I’m totally fine because it’s Jeremiah”

The reason why Conrad was just backing down, and telling belly that he doesn’t want her anymore when she comes into the motel room. Is because he saw them kiss, you can clearly see they kissed just outside the window of the motel. And the blinds were open. Conrad already saw them so he decided to be the bigger person.
but that’s not being the bigger person he’s just protecting his feelings which he’s not wrong for, but if conrad really wanted her he’d fight for her
How is him taking it back being the bigger person?

I would definitely have trust issues with her, and she tore Jere and Con apart.
how to rt this comment for 100 times
Jer cheats on belly next season so I wouldn’t worry about him getting hurt lol 😭

Shoutout to Jeremiah for being so mature… once he realised Belly was interested in him instead of Conrad.
He was mature before he knew she picked him. He told Conrad it doesn’t feel like she picked him and that she only did because she didn’t know she still had a chance with Con. He also fully expected before the XO kiss that she was going to choose Conrad, and he told her they will always be ok.

Jeremiah was such a good brother! Ugh I love him so much 🥹
honestly belly and Jeremiah are so wrong for making out on Conrad's car, at Conrad's school, also while wearing Conrad's sweatshirt. anyways conrad was so funny this season I love him

I feel like Conrad looks like a younger Bill Skarsgard! Is it just me?
I just binged yalls obx reviews they were so good just finished today then this popped up and I'm so glad! Yall crack me up
Patty Conrad was the best thing in finale, he literally carried the episode, I couldn't stop laughing,
i didn't find it funny at all 🙄
Conrad with exile kills me
That scene with Susannah somehow reminded me of the movie My Sister’s Keeper. REALLY GOOD watch if you guys haven’t seen. Sad but moving
The movie is so much worse than the book, I mean they kill a completely different character. The book was poetic and tragic and beautiful, the movie ruined the story.
@@crystalpritchard5065 I’ve heard there are differences between the movie and book, but I did really enjoy the movie without having read the book.
I'm a conrad girlie 100% but what pisses me off the most about him is his lack of communication and his inability to express his feelings not only to belly but literally everybody around him
The ending was perfect ☺️
I REALLLY didn’t like Conrad in this episode. I prefer being straight upset like Jeremiah was vs. Passive Aggressive like that bothers me so much! Omfggg he was a jerk lolll. Like BFFR be real!
Oooo your doing young royals can’t wait!!
@katek1905 they were literally giving it a shot and jere was talking about telling the family they were together when she kissed conrad lol
I completely agree with this.
Girl preach! You get it🙌🏻
I love Conrad being sassy lmaooo
Love You Guys Because You Are Truly Real And Give Your Best Opinions.
Honestly, at this point, if she switches back to Conrad I will lose respect for her.
I always ship poly endings, but no show has had the courage to go that route with a main love triangle so far and I don't imagine this will be the show that breaks the mold, unfortunately 🙄
So, if I can't have my throuple, then it's Jellyfish (and Swedish fish, sorry not sorry at all) all the way! 🤣😂
22:17 bryce’s reaction to jelly’s kiss has me crying bro😭
instead of asking why he would want to date someone who likes his brother, we should be asking why HE would want to date her knowing very well that his BROTHER is in love with her? like that in itself should’ve made him back off if he was actually a good guy. he just wanted to say that belly chose him and not Conrad.
This episode completely broke me and my friends
Conrad was really trying them in that car scene
idk maybe belly should just like…never date anyone named conrad or jeremiah ever again? just to be safe
I’m team Jelly💜💜
Belly’s seriously in denial I mean Conrad wouldn’t be hurt or acting like a passive aggressive dick if he was over her lmao, the break up is still fresh and we all know she’ll go back to him if she knows he feels the same way. Tho she’s just waiting on him to prove himself ready for her again
You guys have the best reaction videos to TSITP! Looking forward to whenever season 3 comes out.
I think you should watch Pretty Little Liars or Gossip Girl, or both haha. They’re both really good and entertaining
Team Conrad!!!!!!
It’s the way I’m mentally checking out for future seasons. THIS was MY ending. Idgaf what happens in the next season
JEREEEE
im ngl, even tho i am a jere girlie, i felt REALLY bad for Conrad at the beginning,
Conrad needs to address his mental health before he can be any good for someone else.
Belly needs more
Than two months to get over Conrad and get with his brother.
@@tameracoates398she 100% loved him, but she was also not over Conrad. That’s why she spends a lot of that two year relationship comparing Jere to Conrad
@@serenaaav So how do you get over someone in a relationship? You MOVE ON! Which is what she did. But she just so happens to actually LOVE the person she moved on with which made it EASIER for her to do so. We see in the show what a Belly that can’t move on looks like. She didn’t care who she hurt on the way to Conrad-nothing was stopping her from living out a childhood fantasy she had.
And thats not the same Belly in season 2- we see it OVER AND OVER that she’s changed-She even SAYS IT! But No one wants to see how much she’s CHANGED in her feelings for Conrad. Conrad fans are in DenialA Not Belly🤣. Most of their interactions in S2 were all PLATONIC and friendly( at least for Belly) Conrad fans just WANTED it to be more-But if you really look at it for what it was-She let him go long before they got to Cousins to save the house. Yes, she will always love Conrad- They were RAISED together-But as soon as the fantasy FADED she was ready to give in to her REAL feelings for Jere. If Belly wanted Conrad she could have HAD HIM! Nothing was stopping her- and she still chose Jere. We take away her agency as a woman when we deny what SHE’s SAYING!
Don’t forget- JERE walked away in the end.
And then the comparisons aren’t to say “,Oh I wish this was Conrad!” 🤣 Most of them are more like- “ Glad I DODGED that Bullet!” Her and Jere had some BEAUTIFUL moments in their relationship.
Mr. Mopey and grumpy ladies and gents 😂 that’d be con and Jer’s name as dwarfs lmao
Idk why but during the car journey scene it was like Conrad was a parent lecturing their children bcz he's older than them🤣🤣
nah i see it more like belly and jere parent lecturing conrad bc he's acting like a child 😭
The fact that *sassy* Conrad was all improve
Jeremiah reaction vs Conrad reaction (who's mature)
Jeremiah (he was biggest Belly Cam shipper)
1:After he knew belly kissed Conrad, He started crying and yelling,
2:Asked her to get out of room
3:Said you are not my friend anymore
4:Ignored her calls whole year
5:Asked Conrad to inform him If Belly is coming to family gathering because he doesn't want to be around them
6:Used his mother cancer as excuse to make her guilty
7:Guilt tripping
Conrad reaction
She was his ex, he saw them kissing on his car in front of his campus, his reaction was fair,
1:After few patty jokes he apologized
2:He said we can be friends
3:Asked them to come on 4th of July
4:Said he was OK with them
So now tell me who's mature but try to look beyond Jere ocean blue eyed please
@@mj.carter I never said he's bad person, he just blames Conrad for ever, just for a girl,
11:20 they were not dating a month ago, a few months had passed, also id like to add that belly and jere were bestfriends and she was a lot closer to him than too conrad also she kissed Jere first and led him on!! also the way he found out belly chose conrad was also scarring considering she told him the morning after jere finds out his moms cancer came back and that conrad knew and didnt tell him for months
this episode just showed how mature jeremiah is and why he’s the better choice
Please do Big Little Lies next!!!!
