If you've watched the Chelsea matches, Cucurella could definitely be player of the season. He has shut down players consistently (Saka, Salah) and brings an intense energy to the matches.
What you can’t see on the TV that you only get live is the desire and commitment we put in. We were a yard faster than Villa the whole afternoon. Even Bob Sanchez had a good game. It’s true we have a fresh team v theirs with 90 minutes of Champions league in their legs but it was more than that. If we show that level of commitment and effort between here and the end of the season we will be very difficult beat. One other notable improvement - the winning of second balls and directing clearances to our own players! This has been a source of intense frustration for me as recently we just clear anywhere and the ball comes straight back us. Today was more controlled and they must have worked on this A*
