My first time in Bali in Indonesia! With having no clue what the value of money is in Bali, I wanted to see how far 1,000,000 would stretch! So this is how I spent a Million.

Pro tip: I've heard Bali is pretty touristy now and prices for a lot of things have gone up (still seems pretty cheap for most westerners which is handy for us though), nearby islands can be great, offer similar experiences, and can be cheaper.

But other island is not really tourists friendly as Bali. You don't see Foreigners riding motorcycles on their own in other islands except Bali. But yeah I agree with you, it is very pricy. What you see in Bali can also be found in other islands in Indonesia, but the culture in Bali is what makes the place special.

Yeah, but Manchester doesn't have a view as good as the ones in Bali. Let's just say most people who go to Bali are doing it for fun, so of course the prices will be tourist prices. It's still not too bad though.
Yeah especially for Bali but definitely not the same as a park in Manchester with chavs drinking cider asking if youve got a light than calling you abatty boy and taking your clothes abd making you work home with a strap on and vibrator up your ass :(

I’ve lived in Bali my whole life and you were just getting overpriced everything, and btw Ubud is more of the traditional place in the jungle of Bali where the temples are. Where more of the tourists go is Canggu & Seminyak which is where all the beach clubs and the beaches. But great video 👍

Here is a tips for y'all who wanted to visit Bali. You have to be smart enough when it comes to bargain so you won't get scammed by unresponsible people, like before when you get a taxi from his hotel to Ubud Centre the driver charged you 50k for 1 km range it's such a scammed it should be around 15-20k.
You need to change the title of this video to “How to get ripped off and spend way to much money in one day in Bali”!! It was obvious that was your 1st Time in Bali as you spent WAY to much money!!! The first taxi you got for 50k should have been no more than 20k you could have got him to take you to the swing, wait and and then bring you back to Monkey Forest in Ubud for 100k at very most! Where you got the Bike is only a 15 minute walk from the Monkey Forrest! You could have got a 2 course meal with a couple of drinks easily in Ubud for about 75k!! You could have done that entire day for 500k easily! To get back to the villa one of those scooter guys would have been about 20k!! P.S the guy you rented to take you on the scooter to the 2 places you would have got for 100k. You can rent a scooter in Bali for 24 Hours for 50k (£2.50) We struggle to spend £50 a day including food between 2 people when we are in Bali and we go twice a year!! It’s a place that once you have been a few times you learn how it works and what you should be paying!

If you can ride a motorbike , You can rent it for the whole day for idr 50-100K or cheaper depends on your bargaining skill, just make it sure you fill it up with the gasoline.

Three people, I been thinking WTFAT (where they f....are they), one resurfaced in Cuba the other day, the other still MIA and you back in Bali...awesome! I been a few times to Indonesia and always dirt cheap and having a million in hand is a weird feeling. Try the little road side eating stalls called 'Warung', they only fit a few people but food is outstanding. Also tip on bottled water, don't buy from street vendors, they have a trick to re-use bottles and refill with well water and replace lids, buy from a stall or shop and check lid!
