My dream car, even if it’s not the fastest, or most expensive. All the money in the world and it’d be my first purchase. My number 1 life goal is to own this and this series puts a massive smile on my face
Look at it this way, you've saved an otherwise scrap car from being scrapped and given it a whole new purpose in life. Going Rocket Bunny was what it cried out for. It's going to look epic once complete.
This is wicked!!!! To be full need for speed I feel it needs a louvered rear window to finish the subtle back end off 😆 afterall, that wing will be filling the rear view anyway so it won't reduce visibility much more😀 just get a rear view camera and all's good

@@dometr9254 for heavily modified cars - yes indeed. Especially when the cars structure/body is modified from its original factory/safety standard. I believe the last winner was quoted over £10k for the Mustang insurance (had no choice but to sell it) - age played a huge part in that of course 😁
It is expensive here in the UK. Though doesn't it depend on where you live and the area. Insurance is unbelievable here. Hopefully this thing won't get straightpiped 😆. An upgraded one would do. The insurance on VW group cars are so expensive because of the high amount of theft. And it's rising. I'm thinking that our cars will be worth less than the insurance cost
Hey Matt, would you consider doing an episode on buying cars from copart? Their pricimg looks complex, so many fees etc, it would be interesting to see what to look for, how the process works etc. What makes you decide whether or not to go for a car, that sort of thing. Just a thought anyways, as you've done themed vids in the past. Thanks!

I think mat will go with a different colour, green has been done with the m4 comp, I wouldn’t mind seeing a nice satin colour or maybe a pink with carbon or gloss black contrasting bits

Even for my 2007 Subaru Forester, which has the exact same brake calipers as this car it looks like. It was cheaper to get aftermarket coilovers to replace my struts than to get brand new subaru parts. and cheaper to get Sparco Assetto Gara rims than to get OEM replacements. and it's gonna be more expensive than anything ive done to the car to actually buy the OEM Hood, scoop, front bumper, fenders and all the individually sold clips & bolts to fasten everything. Aftermarket is the way to go. Also instead of getting any suspension parts from subaru, go to whiteline performance for Sway bars and heavy duty sealed links or Solid sealed Sway Bar links.
I've got a rb diffuser on my 86, you have to cut out the standard one off to bolt the rb on. interested to see what wheel/suspension setup you go with. defo look into forced induction makes the car much better

I'm still worried about the alignment and the ABS light. I suspect it's got to do with the wheel speed sensor on the right front being damaged from the knock. let's go!
