I have one QUESTION for you :)
If I have one computer with one license and two users and the administrator has it own appearance library, how can I make it avaliable (or copy) for another user?

      Hi David,
This should do the trick for you. The link below will show you how you can share material or appearance libraries within Autodesk Inventor.

      Hope this helps!!
      Best,

As far as the library files are concerned, what is the difference between source material & appearance files (if they are not one and the same)? Appearances can be saved inside a material library file but not the other way around? Do I specify the same Material database file (*.adsklib) for both appearances AND materials?

The database files are separate for both the materials and the appearances, though the materials library will have references to the appearances library. Both of which are called out in your project file, so that's the main thing you need to keep in mind when migrating or configuring your set up. You talked for 44 minutes but I feel like I learned very little.
