    Hi Everyone,
    We hope you enjoyed our video! Which small travel trailer with a Murphy bed did you like best? Please say hello by leaving a comment below!
    Also, please feel free to ask any questions or just tell us about yourselves. We want to get to know you and share our RV experiences.

      It seems like Murphy beds free up room in the rv’s.

      Being 6' 3", I like the queen
      bed. Also the convection microwave, although I would guess one could swap out the straight microwave.

    I like the last one the most, the keystone, but I would probably remove the bunk beds and make a private office for the remote work life. It would fit perfectly for those like me without kids.

      @@RVBlogger Ok, gotta ask.. if you were forced to choose between the 3 which would you go with?
      And since I am in the market and this will be my first rig, out of the 3 which one did you feel was the best constructed as far as craftmanship out of the 3? functionality is a different topic but just asking build quality, construction and craftsmanship. Please advise.

    • @RVBlogger

      @@Bronco2Cj that’s a tough question. They all have great features. Without having a lot of information about construction…I will say Grand Design has a great reputation for quality and customer service. Not saying the others are bad however. Keystone RVs are equipped with SolarFlex which is a nice feature for someone interested in solar power

    What we'd really like to see is the use of magnetic stainless steel for the counter-tops so we can put magnets on the bottom of a coffee maker and out Ninja air fryer so they stay in place while moving, but can easily be moved to clean underneath.

    Hi guys! Would you take a new look at hybrid TTs? I need to tow under 5000 with my Palisade. But I'd like a better option for sleeping more. I have such a list because of likes because of your videos. Kinda like buying a house. Lol! And are you heading to Chicago in February? Of course I wouldn't blame you for not hitting winter up here. But I may head out to the RV and Camping show. "Off the chain"! You are so hip! Lol!! Forrest River is one of my fav brands. But I feel like there are some older brands that have been around and doing hybrids longer. But I love the heated beds and anti humidity fan.

    So I'm looking for a trailer capable of sleeping to people while I build a house. It's really going to work all day and I just need an outdoor shower a grill and a dry bed. And when I'm working during the week building the house on the weekends I'd like to be able to store all my tools and crap inside the trailer. But obviously it's not a long-term trailer so maybe a small toy hauler. It's going to be off-grid but I'll have a generator for the tools during the day and the AC at night if necessary. Do you have a video with three small toy haulers

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Making a video about that is on my radar. I have 3 small "toy hauler" style RVs but not sure they would be suitable. Check out KZ Escape E17 Hatch. www.kz-rv.com/products/escape-travel-trailers/E17-HATCH.html It offers all the basics plus a wide open hatch. Hope this gives some help. I'll keep an eye out for something at our next RV show.

    I'm not sure what your criteria was for these 3 trailers was, but three more are the Grand Design Imagine 17MKE - very roomy and lots of counter space. That is the one I first looked at and had pretty much made up my mind, but then I saw the Northwoods Manufacturing NASH 18FM. It is great and Outdoors Manufacturing (sister company of Northwoods) just came out with the 19MKS - this one has a lot of counter space, a dinette and theater seating.

    • @RVBlogger

      The only criteria for these travel trailers were that they had a Murphy Bed. There are many travel trailers with Murphy Beds and we have several videos for them. We attend RV shows and visit dealerships then create video based on what was available to us. We aren't saying these are the best...just that they have Murphy Beds. The first 2 models needed a window by Murphy bed headboard. Do they not do that because it’s the front of the camper which is curved and too much risk of rock hitting the window and cracking it? You didn’t mention that size of the AC units and if they have or are prepped for solar.

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure why they don't include windows in the front behind Murphy bed. We typically don't include appliance spec like A/C information. We cover mostly floor plan and functionality. But we can certainly indicate solar information. Thanks for suggestion and thanks for watching and commenting.

    Love seeing your videos on small trailers. I'm almost 73 y.o., 5' 1.5" tall, and kinda fussy about what I'm looking for in a Camper. If I'm going to drop some bucks on a newer trailer I want it just right for me.
    First, why don't you point out where the electrical outlet is in the kitchen area? Almost everyone needs to plug in a coffee maker or a teapot or a crockpot or a toaster, so we need to see how handy it is.
    Second, storage; please point out if there is or isn't storage under the dinette seats and/or the bed. One can never have too much storage.
    Third, Murphy Beds; I'm not a fan, but they are not a deal breaker IF I can leave the bed all made and still fold it up & lock it in place. I'm past the time in my life where I want to make & unmake my bed EVERY day & night while on my camping vacation. So please point out if a bed can remain fully made & stored as a Murphy bed.
    One last thing, I've watched some other videos on small trailers that say the refrigerator runs on either shore power and Propane. Would someone want that?? My current camper has a 3 way fridge, Propane, shore & 12 volt (battery). I use the battery power for my fridge while in tow to the campground to keep my food cold/frozen, then use campground power. Why would a travel trailer manufacturer only offer Propane or Shore power? How do they think we are to keep our refrigerator items cold & frozen while traveling? I can't use shore & I'm definitely not gonna run the Propane while driving!!
    Thank you.

    • @jeffreycarlson747
      @jeffreycarlson747 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 12 volt refrigerators in these trailers run on shore power or batteries, NOT propane.

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kathryn! I don't blame you for being fussy! 😂 We always trying to point out electrical outlets and storage. Those are super important. Sometimes an RV lacks them and sometimes we miss them. Sorry if we did. As for the refrigerator...if a fridge only runs on shore power or propane, then you would use the propane option while you are traveling. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    • @kathrynnisse5105
      @kathrynnisse5105 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for replying. I'll just be sure to ask about 12 V/battery for fridge operation. I feel safer using a battery while traveling than using an open propane tank. Thanks for remembering to point out the electrical outlets by the kitchen counters or saying you don't see any.
      I did think of 1 more thing. Toilet Paper holders, why don't we see them in 95%, or more, in the bathrooms? Are we expecting to put the roll on the sink? What if there is no sink? Put it on the floor? Yuck! Buy our own and hope we don't mess up a wall or screw into something we shouldn't? Sorry so many questions, but you are so knowledgeable. 😊

    What you called a cargo net in the overhead is actually a safety net for kids sleeping up there.
    Also why would they put a double sink instead of a single. No need for two sinks but counter space would be much more needed.

    You are obsessed with that tape measure and if you leave it in the car you would other more views 🤔

      Don't know any other way to measure the ceiling height, shower, bed and other sleeping areas without it! Any suggestions?🤔 Though the tape measure might be annoying to some, we get lots of positive comments from viewers that like getting measurements. Thanks of watching our video and commenting Grannybear & Gus!

      you aren't paying these prices... besides, buy used.. some great deals to be had on folks that jump into this, realize it is not for them or they upgrade to a real RV and dump these... NEVER buy new!!!
