Love you don't try to have analytical distance from the subject but merge in it, let you affected by it, let yourself enjoy it, experience it. I know zero about singing and compositions, what I've noticed is that the longer notes and repeating phrases helps me to experience, catch her fantastic unique voice's delicious harmonies, subharmonises, resonances, the coloring of it, onset etc. Just the emotion, the feeling put into it, literally vocal painting. And I get mesmerized every time by her. Again great reaction, sound and video quailty, voice level balance, etc.
