I think on this one, Diana just broke the universe open. She proved you don't need all the words to deliver a message. In this case, it's no longer about love, it's about obsession. It's not the same key as the original--she transposed it into a minor, which is why it sounds "creepy". Thank you for your reaction and analysis.

Greetings from Scotland! I believe Diana has an almost 4 Octave range now and it keeps developing so fast! A stroke of genius to sing this in a minor key, instantly darkening it. At the age of about 13 she auditioned on a show for children and sang/yodeled. It is called 'Jodel Time'...really extraordinary...the audience absolutely loved her but the judges didn't turn their chairs around, even though they were obviously fascinated by her voice. They asked her to sing something else and she sang a French song acapella...but she was not chosen. What did she do? As the audience cheered her, she went up and gave the judges a hug! Completely captivating performer, even at the age of 13!
And also you could do 'Wicked Game' and 'Rechenka' both at the age of about 15 in singing contests... utterly spectacular voice! Also she sings a beautiful and uplifting 'Into the Sky!' Enjoyed your comments on her....the background is as extraordinary as the performer. At the age of three in the middle of Russia's far northern Winter she was abandoned, injured, at a bus stop where she was rescued and sent to an orphanage. At the age of 5 she was still traumatized and unable to speak properly. A massage therapist who visited the orphanage trying to help kids, was the first to recognize something special in this little girl, and eventually adopted her. Diana was sent for singing lessons because it was thought that this might help her learn to speak without impediment.
Only two years later she started singing in local theater, and in street plays and performances. And soon after was entered in a Russian TV music competition for disadvantaged children. By the age of 10 she was winning local competitions, singing on live TV shows, and her songs started showing up on TH-cam. Two months ago, at the age of 18, her first performance during a new Russian television competition with several other renowned performers, has gone viral and has garnered hundreds of TH-cam 'reaction' videos, and millions of viewers. Her first song at the competition, an entirely new take on Elvis Presley's 'Can't Help Falling in Love with You' has been called mesmerizing, transcendental and other-worldly...it highlights her uniquely deep voice, and effortless range from low to high, along with her trademark dramatic and passionate interpretation. Diana Ankudinova sings mostly in Russian, English and French. She has also sung in other languages including Spanish, German and Arabic. A viewer: 'At the age of 5 she couldn't speak her own language, and now she is this angelic singer that the world will soon discover! How can one watch her and still doubt past lives?'

Love your energy, enthusiasm. Love you don't try to have analytical distance from the subject but merge in it, let you affected by it, let yourself enjoy it, experience it.
I know zero about singing and compositions, what I've noticed is that the longer notes and repeating phrases helps me to experience, catch her fantastic
unique voice's delicious harmonies, subharmonises, resonances, the coloring of it, onset etc. Just the emotion, the feeling put into it, literally vocal painting. And I get mesmerized every time by her.
Again great reaction, sound and video quailty, voice level balance, etc.

Be sure to listen to her on open speakers in a large room to have a full body experience in your own environment. Her timbre is a workout for the speakers and it fills up all of the room. I played it in the yard and it still seemed to expand. The vibration is unlike any other.

Меня всегда огорчает, когда "реакторы" останавливают видео сразу же после окончания песни: на мой взгляд, хотя бы первоначальную реакцию судей и просто публики очень интересно посмотреть и послушать.
Например, на днях я смотрел реакции одного парня, иностранца (к сожалению, я забыл его имя), в которых он просмотрел ролики Дианы с "Jodel Time" (с передачи "Голоса, дети") и "It's a Man's World" (с "Ты супер") вообще полностью, вплоть до возвращения Дианы за кулисы: судя по комментариям, такой формат очень понравился далеко не только мне.

You point out that Diana practices a lot. She started very young and she learned to yodel at an early age. She has spent the time to understand her voice. You might say she’s fearless when it comes to using various techniques that would make even a seasoned singer cringe, but shE has been doing all of it so long that it is second nature.
