Thank you. This explains such a lot in such a short sample.

Thank you for showing the deliberate mistakes for comparison. The visual along with your explanations was very helpful.

Your videos have the 3 things I like in an instructional video
    1) You clearly explain what you're doing.
    2) I can see what you're doing
    3) I can HEAR what you're saying. I've watched some that, even with my Bluetooth speaker I still can't hear them.
    ❤👍

Louise, first I want to tell you I enjoy every moment of your videos. I have noticed that you sometimes mention you will switch off the video as you work a section of ground, and explain you would do so to shorten the video so that, we as the viewer, won't become bored at watching the ground being worked, or switch off because the video might be too long. While I do appreciate your thoughtfulness for such considerations, I am saddened that I can't experience the full piece being worked. As a visual learner, I will study the movements of both the techniques you are focused on and the "more mundane" movements as well. As I watch the threads move, I am also interpreting your words, and off camera hand movements much like listening to a symphony being played. In my mind, I am imagining my hands "playing the instruments" so to speak, and this enhances my learning. So, my hope is that you will consider filming the entire piece or sample and upload that version as well to accompany the technique version. I guarantee you I will watch both versions over and over many times and enjoy each for it's virtues. As a last comment, I find the sounds made by the bobbins working with each other, musical in their own right. And so, I do enjoy a longer piece!! I hope I'm not the only one.🥰

Thank you for the feedback. I know I have watched videos in the past (ok it was on physical video tapes! Which were harder to fast forward) and almost felt that it was too slow.. I try to give everyone the information they need while keeping their attention. It's such a fine line to balance.
It would work for smaller pieces though. Thanks for the suggestions.

23:25 “…don’t want the video to be too long, then you switch off…”
Never! I hang on every stitch and every word.
