Great video mate, here I was wondering, I'm up in the north of Ireland and there's loads of laws on tools/knifes that make it hard to get decent bushcraft equipment. Is there much of that down near you? Cheers mate
Excellent work, I don’t know if here in area of London it could be possible to imitate some of your works . Thank you for sharing some Irish art and designs which probably are better compared all the other shared videos from other countries. In the area of London it might be impossible to find strong mud and could chop some wood in the freedom and peaceful manner. I’m italian and always been curious on how they constructed monuments and buildings with sole mud and lime . Romans discovered the bricks can last longer by using limestone extract and other materials as clay and I forgot the third ingredient. One day we might need to comeback at those alternatives due the incoming wars decided from polluted and corrupted civilisations.
Your best build revisited. It would be interesting to know how long they would last if you didn't dismantle them. Protecting the roof plastic from UV damage is important. I suppose you would have to char all the wood in contact with mud - the way things are going in Ireland you might have to live in one permanently!
This one was a year old before demolition there was no evidence of degradation apart from a dear foot shape hole in the roof 😂 I suspect it would last 5-7 years . I have a few two part videos I'm going to stitch together,I'm so far behind schedule 😭
Good observation 👍 as a rule a chimney needs to be either tall and narrow,or short and wide .this chimney worked very well but perhaps a cover on top to prevent rain would be a good idea like in this video th-cam.com/video/eDTtgWMD4lM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=SqoTSTKRv-RTh3eX
