I don’t know how I found out about this product but oh my gosh! The effect of it on the skin is absolute perfection. I got the luminosity one. I have very pale dry skin. Whether I use primer/foundation or not, I get a subtle, lit from within glow. I dislike makeup that screams makeup. I like subtle, whispery makeup that lets people see me only more lovely. This fits right into my philosophy. It smooths pores and adds a glow, not a shimmer or glitter. It’s expensive but there’s a lot of product and you barely need to touch it with a brush to get the effect you’re looking for. It’ll last a very long time. It’s worth every single cent. I can’t recommend it enough. It’s great for mature skin. If you’re indecisive, treat yourself and get it. You’ll be so glad you did.

Veronica Sue Starlite i actually own one of them now! Ethereal light ❤️. I have very dry skin and it looks so good! It’s not a setting powder but a finishing powder. I do use it all over the face for a gorgeous subtle glow. I did however notice that when i’m in direct bright sunlight, there is glitter all over my face. So there is indeed glitter in it. But it doesn’t bother me at all 😁😁😁. It’s only noticeable in direct sunlight.

I just got the ambient light palette this morning.. and tried using it as a highlighter and was so unimpressed, seriously. Then I watched this & remembered your technique of using powder before foundation and holy hot damn. My makeup has never looked so smooth. I'm super pale, I used incandescent light all over and flushed some radiant light on my cheeks, then applied NARS sheer glow (not even half a pump). It's all pretty and glowy. Thank you so much for your amaze videos, even the ones from 2 years ago are still helping people!!!
I have pale ivory skin, bought the ambient lighting palette a while ago.Now I'm using dim light for a very natural blush color and radiant light for bronzing powder, finally incandescent light for highlight. Love how they look on my skin very much.

Took me apparently 6 years to try these and I couldn’t be happier. Nothing that I’ve ever tried compares to these powders. I set my entire face with “diffused light”. It’s amazing under the eyes and gets even better during the day, as it melts into the skin.

I use these on a daily basis. I'm quite pale and I use the ethereal light to help cover my dark circles because of how pale my skin is. I this shade every day. Some times I use it in the middle of my face then I apply luminous light on the rest but with a light hand. I adore these and plan on getting some more. I apply it with the Tom Ford brush 2 and it just looks amazing.

I recently purchased two of these, Diffused Light and Mood Light. both are beautiful and apply like a dream. The powder is soft, so be gentle with your brush! I think the effect is awesome. :)
I just recently ordered the Ambient Light pallete in the Sephora sale. Ive been lusting after one for ages but couldnt justify the price. This Diffused Light and Dim Light are my Holy Grail products for setting powder and "bronzer." 😍 They're expensive but the product lasts and lasts, and it's not tested on animals - which is very important to me. My Ambient Light powders are the recent, permanent addition to my makeup routine.
Love your videos. I think I will try this product. I love dewy finishes, radiant and even sparkly make up, but cannot wear it because I am 46 and have a lot lines and enlarged pores. I would love if you could do a video on how to help hide signs of aging (very dark circles, lots of lines around and on eye lids and large pores) especially how to get the most dewy radiant skin without emphasizing those lines. Based on this video, I bought this product in 'mood'. I'm fair and have pink undertones. I adore it. It's so pretty. Thank you for the advice. I doubt I'd ever known about it otherwise.
I have all of them but the best for pale is Ethereal light. I use Luminous light all over to blur imperfections them I take their finnishing brush (the rectangle one) and sweep Ethereal under my eyes as a cheekbone highlight, down my nose and on my chin. My skin looks stunning in photos! It is truely a must have for porcelain skin, and I'm incredibly picky!
Hey Wayne! I have oily skin and I'm around an NC42 complexion. I sit really have a lot of redness, rather I tend to look a bit sallow. Which of these ambient light powders would be the most flattering for me? (I have videos and Instagram if you want a reference)

is any of these finishing powders good to set the concealer under eyes? I have a really dry skin and do not use powder on my face. I use it only to set the concealer and hate how this area is matte so I am looking for something setting but maybe a bit dewy (if that is at all possible)
Wow these seem amazing! In the beginning of the video I wasn't aware that you used the product & said oh wow he looks fantastic in the video, very radiant so for that reason alone it's definitely something I may look into. Have you tried their waterproof bronzer? The term waterproof when talking about a powder bronzer is a little difficult to believe but I hear it's more on the yellow aside which is suppose to work great on my light yellow skintone
I think that's why people who do not like Burberry Fresh Glow don't like it...many expected a highlighter and really it just gives a healthy glow. I was glad to hear one of these is suitable for us very pale girls...looks like a product I'd enjoy. Thanks for this review. :)

I got the triple pallet but honestly its heard for me to see much of a difference between the shades on my skin. It feels like they all look the same,and I'm a medium. Do you think it might be because I'm a medium? just wondering.

Do you know if they help set foundation or if you should set first? I have an oily t zone that has to be set, but I don't like an overly matte look. These seem like they would be ideal if they set and give a glow. BTW, I LOVE your channel!

Your skin looks so purrty! how do you feel these will hold up on deeper skin tones? do you think these will be suitable for flash photography given the reflective properties, or harsh fluorescent office lighting? and would you recommend these for those who already have a shiny finish to the skin? I sometimes use chanel vitalumiere (in 50) or bourjois healthy mix serum (in 56) and theyre usually too shiny later in the day if not immediately, although i've not a oily skin. still suitable?

Your skin looks subtly radient using this finishing powder. I think that I will invest in a shade or two- I have to remind myself not to go overboard with the application and end up highlighting portions (e.g. large pores and fine lines) of my face that should be left in the dark. :-/ You did it very well- maybe you could do a tutorial on applications when you get the other shades (use lovely Mandy)!! xx
I bought one of these today. I thought the best color for me was "mood". Mood is a sort of pink shade. I have a question tho please. =) After you put on your foundation are you to put on your powder after and then use this after my normal setting powder or do I stop using my everyday setting powder and just use my new Mood color from Hourglass. We just got trained by Hourglass for these and they are pretty incredible. The pink one is the one that suits me best personally but they are kind of like clothing so you can mix and match powders. :) This product is definitely worth all the excitement! Cheers

What should I get between Dim Light, Ethereal Light and Diffused Light? I want the blurred and soft shiny moonlight effect on my face. I'm so confuse cause I want them all. :((( My complexion is number 2 in Lasting Silk GA but this foundation is too yellow. 0+ in Sisley Phyto Teint is match my complexion the best. I just want the shade that match the neutral tone, not too yellow and not too pink.

i read on a blog that the problem with these powders is that they made the foundation look oilier within a couple of hours so they didnt really help the foundation to either last longer or to stay fresh. what was your experience with the foundation longevity? and tzone oils?

Based on this video, I bought this product in 'mood'. I'm fair and have pink undertones. I adore it. It's so pretty. Thank you for the advice. I doubt I'd ever known about it otherwise.
I have all of them but the best for pale is Ethereal light. I use Luminous light all over to blur imperfections them I take their finnishing brush (the rectangle one) and sweep Ethereal under my eyes as a cheekbone highlight, down my nose and on my chin. My skin looks stunning in photos! It is truely a must have for porcelain skin, and I'm incredibly picky!

Hey Wayne! I have oily skin and I'm around an NC42 complexion. I sit really have a lot of redness, rather I tend to look a bit sallow. Which of these ambient light powders would be the most flattering for me? (I have videos and Instagram if you want a reference)

is any of these finishing powders good to set the concealer under eyes? I have a really dry skin and do not use powder on my face. I use it only to set the concealer and hate how this area is matte so I am looking for something setting but maybe a bit dewy (if that is at all possible)
Wow these seem amazing! In the beginning of the video I wasn't aware that you used the product & said oh wow he looks fantastic in the video, very radiant so for that reason alone it's definitely something I may look into. Have you tried their waterproof bronzer? The term waterproof when talking about a powder bronzer is a little difficult to believe but I hear it's more on the yellow aside which is suppose to work great on my light yellow skintone
I think that's why people who do not like Burberry Fresh Glow don't like it...many expected a highlighter and really it just gives a healthy glow. I was glad to hear one of these is suitable for us very pale girls...looks like a product I'd enjoy. Thanks for this review. :)

I got the triple pallet but honestly its heard for me to see much of a difference between the shades on my skin. It feels like they all look the same,and I'm a medium.

I actually have just bought the Mood Light powder with the sweet little brush. I LOVE it! I want to get another one. I was looking for a setting powder and the girl at Sephora show me these. These powders seem great !!!! How would you compare it to the new Nars white face powder ? I just bought it and really like it. I'm going to go to sephora though to check out this new hourglass one !! I love the pearl color.

I bought the diffused light after watching ur video. my skin is light and has yellow undertone, well I am asian with acne prone skin. I really like this product. I use a kabuki brush. lovely.

Do you know if they help set foundation or if you should set first? I have an oily t zone that has to be set, but I don't like an overly matte look. These seem like they would be ideal if they set and give a glow. BTW, I LOVE your channel!
I have an ebony complexion and was thinking of getting mood light on the top...Would that be a good choice and do i apply this all over my face or sparingly to highlight?...Great review!...:)

id love to see a full review once you get all six products? I have oily skin like you, Goss, and large pores. I typically wear Too faced Primed and poreless (no foundation)and wonder if this would be a good finishing powder for me? They look so beautiful.

Your skin looks subtly radient using this finishing powder. I think that I will invest in a shade or two- I have to remind myself not to go overboard with the application and end up highlighting portions (e.g. large pores and fine lines) of my face that should be left in the dark. :-/ You did it very well- maybe you could do a tutorial on applications when you get the other shades (use lovely Mandy)!! xx
I bought one of these today. I thought the best color for me was "mood". Mood is a sort of pink shade. I have a question tho please. =) After you put on your foundation are you to put on your powder after and then use this after my normal setting powder or do I stop using my everyday setting powder and just use my new Mood color from Hourglass. We just got trained by Hourglass for these and they are pretty incredible. The pink one is the one that suits me best personally but they are kind of like clothing so you can mix and match powders. :) This product is definitely worth all the excitement! Cheers

Totally agree with you Wayne......I bought the Diffused and the Dim and love them both for different reasons......I am trying to talk myself out of buying others as they are $45. each in the States, but probably will fold as I too LOVE them!

My complexion is number 2 in Lasting Silk GA but this foundation is too yellow.
0+ in Sisley Phyto Teint is match my complexion the best.
I just want the shade that match the neutral tone, not too yellow and not too pink.

i read on a blog that the problem with these powders is that they made the foundation look oilier within a couple of hours so they didnt really help the foundation to either last longer or to stay fresh. what was your experience with the foundation longevity? and tzone oils?
