Good eye. Also there several dinos that look like predators who are actually herbivores. Therazinaspuras, carcadontasuras, to name a few springs to mind so this is entirely possible
@@sirp7394 true enough I just thought I'd point out a t Rex like dino being an herbivore is possible. Though as a side note for the teeth there are animals like fruit bats that are largely herbivorous that have sharp teeth. So it's not impossible it just depends on the diet.
@@zebjensen4251 Actually, to my knowledge, Carcharadontasaurus was a carnivorous theropod, like many Tyrannosaurs and similar theropods. However, Therizinosaurus is a great example of a theropod that looks predatory, but is herbivorous. In actuality, we don't know for certain with some creatures, as all we have to go off of is the shape/structure of their teeth, but with certain specimens we can find droppings, or traces of food like plant matter fossilized along with the creature itself, which tells us what they ate. But, for the most part, comparing archaeological findings with our modern understanding of animal biology allows us to make an educated guess, that is generally agreed upon until proven otherwise. Carcharadontasaurus had all the same adaptations other large predatory dinosaurs did, such as it's teeth, shaped for latching onto and ripping into flesh, powerful legs built for running at high speeds, and a body structure designed to keep balance when running at high speeds over long distances. An herbivore's teeth generally are designed for crushing apart tough plant matter, so unless it fed exclusively on specific types of fruit, it having been herbivorous seems rather unlikely based on the shape of it's teeth. These point heavily toward it being a predator, like many of it's close relatives. But you do make a great point, bringing up things like fruit bats, who use sharp teeth for entirely different purposes.
I haven't looked into it, but for anyone curious enough, this seems to be from the same creators as some other movies considered "the Japanese Land Before Time", such as Omae Umasou Da Na (You Are Umasou) and Anata Wo Zuto Aishteru (I Will Love You Always) by Ajia-do Animation. This is definitely from the people who made 'A Stormy Night'. Is this just gonna be a gay interspecies romance between a carnivore and herbivore dinosaur?
that would explain the bara art style...
That is so cute. I got recommended this idk why. But its so wholesome. That little pink dinosaur is adorable.
the look, feel, and style gives me super Ken Sugimori vibes and I absolutely love it!! aa
(Sugimori is the primary designer and art director for pokemon and I always admired his art on pokemon cards, he always had like...theeee best card art and has been around since the very classic cards)
aww is this same studio that made Arashi No Yuro Ni?
Yes.
Arashi no Yoru ni, also known as Stormy Night has this kind of same animation, even to the little creatures shuttering from the cold, but I loved this, if you are interested and enjoyed this, look up that movie, its an.. interesting movie to watch but I liked it.
Looks like the same studio that did Stormy Night, with the Wolf and Goat... same style.
Hell, it even had the same butt shot. 😂
You know animation is well done when you don't even needs subtitles to understand what is going on.
Was tired of finding the usual slice of life or isekai stuff I am happy to find something different about the anime industry 😊
Man, the music is soo fucking good for some reason.
it has the simplicity and elegance of Steve Reich and Todd Baker's work
It's RYUICHI SAKAMOTO, of course it's good
