Honestly, given how intelligent ravens/crows are, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone told me they actually combine foods and flavors like that in real life.
Ravens and wolves have been documented forming bonds beyond having a mutualistic relationship with the pack. The raven will go out and find carrion and alert the wolves to it, and the wolves will allow them to eat freely. But, ravens will also play with wolf cubs, and follow around a pack for years. Truly a wonderful friendship.
