Absolutely gorgeous, Jay. And I won’t make fun of your “straight” adjectives anymore! 😉 This is my favorite year for the GTO. Pontiac did an outstanding job differentiating the GTO from Chevy’s Chevelle SS even though much is shared. I especially love the slit taillights and vertical quad headlights. I’d snap this up in a heartbeat if I had the extra $$$s.

Another thing how many people out there like the new cars like the mustang, charger, pt cruiser,and more so why not THE GTO which was actually the first mussel car offered to the public, I do believe it was a 63 or 64 it had side by side headlights 65 they started the over and under, and came with a 389 or 396 with a semi high rise manifold, and 3 2bbl carbs ,which you'll go nuts trying to get them insink oh if you were lucky 5 miles to the gallon

The one thing that ruined some GTOs ,Lemmans , and even
Tempest, was the vinyl roof, first thing I did with my 65 was rip the vinyl off

I bought a 67 gto December 66.400 ho 4spd.marina blue black interior. I paid cash for it. $2950 out the door.
