yay played 2 matches in kick off and beat prx and lost to drx (top 3 team at the event) and then got dropped get serious bud that shouldnt even be taken seriously
You can't blame c9 and DSG on yay, he play 2 games for c9 and they beat prx as a new team. DSG are just full of dogshit rank players, the amount of times I see them throw 1v4 1v5 is crazy peaking.

Maybe this isn't a good comparison, but, he's not TenZ that has support behind it (girlfriend, good friend, etc.) that make him (TenZ) to be able to get champion again. Yay really stressed by people's words on the internet and I think he need support like that.
This stress has an impact on his game. Like us when lose in ranked five times or more, and the next match, we like, end up bottom frag with a very, very bad game, bad play style. Lose confident and everything.
It's a scary life for a pro player who is required to play well under pressure and stress.

tbh imo the comparison with tenz shouldn't be about the support they are getting but the support they are giving. i agree with fns, if you look at yay's gameplay you'd know he's the type of player that needs a lot of support to be able to give his best to the team. different from tenz, who often comms to offer support to the team instead of asking. i see yay similar to early sacy & pancada with sentinels, they were not performing well because they didn't receive the same type of comms they received with loud. that's why i prefer to compare yay with either aspas or demon1. no matter how much support he gets on the internet, if he isn't in a team like aspas in lev or demon1 in nrg where he gets the best support, he is not going to improve much. other option is for him to change his style, for example just like zekken (not saying sentinels didn't give the best support but to me based on comms zekken is more of a duelist + support combo instead of just duelist)

@@sunsetvoir I think the man just needs his confidence back. He tried flexing his role but sadly it didn't work out for him. He is a duelist by nature. I think his team is also doing a good job supporting him rn given the communication issues his team currently facing rn so it takes time for sure.
tbh yay is a good player but he also needs a good team. Yeah he has a lot of loses in a row but he has been playing in DSG and Bleed.

No team is instantly that bad from 1 player. C9 lost one game then dropped him. DSG and bleed are just shit. Bleed also has a language barrier. It IS his fault for picking these bad situations and lowering his stock as a player but in the server put anyone in his situation and they’re not winning

@@badunglee3656no one is doing that. They’re blaming the individual on the individual. Yay is not that good mechanically anymore, is pretty toxic, and has a huge ego. Every team he joins falls apart. At some point you have to realize the common denominator
Is he really blaming the team for Yay's performance though? I really don't see it in that extreme. He's just saying that Yay needs a strong support system. You can't seriously fault FNS for saying that when Yay was such a stand-out under his leadership. If he said "I agree that Yay fell off", the Valorant community would stop being Yay haters for a day to go after FNS instead. It's easy to see why FNS goes for that response when Optic was a prime example. And after Optic, Yay has been on teams where he doesn't mesh well both in and out the game. It's just an unfortunate situation on both sides. I think it was also FNS who said that Yay's aim is more awareness-based than fast reflexes, meaning he hits shots because he knows you're there purely from the info he receives from his team. Victor was the main entry, while they usually left Yay with an OP while the rest of the team closes in or backs the enemy up to him. I feel like his bad performance now mostly has to do with the fact that people keep catching him off guard. By that I mean, he's watching a spot but he's not prepared to shoot because there's no FNS or Crashies in his ear telling him that the enemy is 100% approaching him. Again, not blaming his current team, Yay just hasn't learned to adjust. There's no doubt that all this has fucked up his confidence in the game as well. It's just a bad timeline for him.
