Tech is the GOAT and very inspiring to listen to and emulate, but there are differences between reselling there and here . For example, the quantity of clothing readily available in the US vs the UK! Perhaps we need a UK Tech; Simon?! Looking forward to more videos, all the best, Tim
Hi Tim, thank again for taking the time to watch and comment. You are spot on there are definitely major differences between us and the states. Availability of stock is absolutely the biggest difference. The technical advise from the group is amazing and also having a dedicated UK call as well is so helpful.

I like the idea of having the camera on a lanyard . Can see that saving a bit of time - especially the amount of time I spend looking for it.

Love your videos Simon and have picked up some great tips thank you. But I don’t get your pricing? A lot of your items seem to sell for 13.77-18.77? Once you deduct eBay fees and cost of buying this must amount to a £6-£7 profit per item? I thought your business model was aiming for £15 profit? Is it just volume that makes your money or am I missing something? You work incredibly hard so guessing it must be a volume based model?

Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment, I do appreciate it. You are correct I am trying to to keep to a £15 average profit, unfortunately this doesn’t alway work if I can’t find the items. Need to get items listed even if they are a bit below my margin.
I keep a spreadsheet keeping an eye on profit. I’m currently tracking at £12 per item as some items sell for a lot more and some sell for a lot less.
It’s all about the averages for me.

Nice to hear from you Simon. You are a real motivation. I cannot seem to make a profit on flips from Vinted. Maybe I need to promote my eBay listings? At the moment I’m not selling on eBay? Seems very difficult.

Hi Mate. just stumbled upon your channel, Just got into ebay selling myself, are you clothes purchase new? I see there all In wrapping? I ask because I try to find clothes to resell in thrift stores and 99% of them are manly, stained, holes / rips in them, It seems now on impossible to find a nice item of clothing that’s resellable :(
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment it does mean the world to me. The absolute hardest part of re selling in finding good quality items to sell. It’s easy to pick up rubbish but tracking down great items is the bit we need to learn. It’s definitely not easy but can be done. I pretty much only sell used items.

@@Aza35617 yes I absolutely do sell items with defects, just need to make the buyer aware with good descriptions and clear photos. Price correctly and it will sell.

I’m currently listing 5 a day and spreading them out through scheduled listings, is it better to just list 5 In one go per day do you think?
