Great finds, I'm new to your channel, slowly going through watching some of your older content. I'm new to this reselling game. Videos like this help me to know what to keep an eye out for, will definatley be looking out for those chess boards in future. Also please could you let me know where you get your clear bags you put your clothes in storage in, what do i search to buy them, or do you have a link? I've asked a few other resellers but no one has ever got back to me.

Same as the whole world. I used to work for a kitchen company, I used to sell their kitchens which cost £2k and the customer paid £20k I suppose that’s capitalism 🤷
@@thegentlemanmarketeer Extortion. Feel sorry for some people who unknowingly give stuff away at car boots. It’s a brutal world and some resellers are completely soulless. Not yourself Simon obviously. You gave a couple a quid to the charity out of that potential £118 profit 😆
What people fail to realise is that you don’t just pay £2 for an item and get £120 back. Firstly it takes time to clean, test, photograph the item… 60% don’t work or require repairs. Then the time and equipment to photo the item… depends how much you value your time but we’re 2 hours in… then you have to list and wait for it to sell that could be a week, a month, a year that you have to pay to store the item. Then it’s likely the item will go on offer. Then after it finally sells you have to pay postage and fees… then that £120 soon becomes £80… minus fees, storage and time. If it was easy to just get £100 for it I’m sure they would but in reality people value their time more and want it gone quick.

Always feel a bit sorry for people selling things for a couple of quid when in reality they’re worth 50-60 times that. Seems incredibly harsh.
