I laughed when Davey said "when you get to be my age, you don't yell, you don't tell, and you're grateful". Oh, how I still love this man, and this song❤Thank you Davey for making the world a better place for me🥰

One of my favorite songs ever! I think most women want to feel that some guy feels that way about them. To feel they're making a noticeable, positive difference in someone's life and that she's enough and he's content.

Absolutely. I don’t know how anyone can’t be in love with his voice.

"I used to be a hearthrob, now I'm a coronary!" Oh, Davy, wish you never said that at Epcot in 2009, as that prophecy now untimely fulfilled Feb. 29, 2012. "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia" - oh how lucky she was to kiss Davy who sang "Girl" especially for her on 1971 Brady Bunch episode and again in 1995 Brady Bunch Movie. Thank you, Davy Jones, for being a hearthrob from '60's through '12's. Rest in peace, love.

Well his jokes were self deprecating at times and at this very show I realized afterwards he couldn't see after all the lights when fan looked at his album and autograph was blank. But Friday or Saturday shows I'd had thoughts better see him as much as could. The joke was old by 2009. Plus, at a hotel I spoke to one of his pharmacists when at pool I asked if they could hear new Monkees song I played on phone. We were fortunate to have Davy with us as long as we did.

Yes, and MICKEY DOLENZ sighed and said ''DAVY'S parents died young, so...'' Hope that Jones was trying to offset that, not just living in denial like so many.

First and only "Famous" person I ever wrote a letter to. I was 10, i told him my favorite color was blue and sent him a blue marble. Lord that's embarrasing to admit. Really thought I was in love though, pretty serious for a 10 year old. So sad, he died way too early.

In 1971, Fox & Gimbel wrote this song for Davy Jones to sing in the Neil Simon comedy "Star Spangled Girl"... though it is best known from Jones's performance on the Brady Bunch. A year later Fox & Gimbel wrote their Grammy winning hit "Killing Me Softly" and a year after that they wrote "I Got A Name" for Jim Croce.

He may have been older, greyer and a little bit out of shape here but Davy Jones voice sounded exactly the same. Loved him a lot from the days I used to watch The Monkees tv show too.
