今回はいつもお世話になっている日本ヴァイオリンさんからご依頼を受け、モダンとオールドのチェロの弾き比べをお届けします🎻
生音での聴き比べには及びませんが…

Today Im introducing you to three wonderful cello from Nippon Violin in Tokyo.
I had the opportunity to play two wonderful modern instruments and one amazing old one back to back. Enjoy!
1) フランチェスコ・トト　2017年製
Totoはドイツのミッテンヴァルトで開催される国際バイオリン製作コンテストに出場し2001年に3位、2005年に2位（銀メダル）に輝いている。
他の多数の賞賛に加えて、彼は2006年のクレモナ・トリエンナーレ・国際ヴァイオリン製作コンクールでチェロ製作部門で最優秀賞を受賞しました。
トトは1996年からクレモナで自身のワークショップで製作を続けています。
※2018年には六本木・森アーツセンターで開催されたストラディヴァリ300年のキセキ展にゲストとして招かれていて、弦代を生きるヴァイオリン製作家の代表として実際の製作パフォーマンスや彼のヴァイオリン製作に対するポリシーを多くの観客の前で披露している。
Francesco Toto　2017
At Mittenwald Competition of Violin Making in Germany, Toto won the 3rd place in 2001, and the 2nd place (silver medal) in 2005.
In addition to many other praises, he received the highest award in the cello making category of Cremona Triennale International Violin Making Competition in Italy in 2006 (Concorso Triennale Internazionale di Liuteria Antonio Stradivari, Cremona, Italy).
Toto has been making instruments at his own workshop in Cremona since 1996.
In 2018, he was invited to Tokyo Stradivarius Festival 2018 under the supervision of Nippon Violin as a guest and demonstrated his actual instrument making and his violin making policy to large audience as a representative of violin makers living today.
2) アンニバル・ファニオラ　 1926年製
イタリア・トリノの製作家。
トリノ派のかつての名製作家を参考に、ガダニーニ、ロッカ、プレッセンダなどのモデルを好んで製作し、モダンヴァイオリン製作家の中でも特に人気のある製作家の一人です。
特にニスが美しく、楽器の造りも精巧で、音は芯のある通る音で知られている。
今回のチェロは1926年、まさに彼の黄金期の傑作のひとつと言えます。
Hannibal Fagnola 1926
A violin maker from Torino, Italy.
He is one of the most popular modern violin makers, who has been making instruments referring to some past renowned makers of Tonino School. His favorite makers are G. B. Guadagnini, Giuseppe Antonio Rocca and Giovanni Francesco Pressenda, and many of his artwork follow their models.
His varnish is particularly beautiful, the constructions of the instruments are refined, and their tones are known to carry well with body.
This cello made in 1926 can be surely said to be one of his masterpieces of his golden period.
3) ジョヴァンニ・グランチーノ 1694年製
イタリアのヴァイオリン製作家の大家である二コラアマティの直系の弟子。
17世紀後半から18世紀前半にかけてミラノ派の始祖として活躍した。テストーレ、ランドルフィの師でもあると言われている。
まさにザ・オールドイタリアンであり、音は深い低音、また密度のある素晴らしい音色を響かせる。
Giovanni Grancino 1694
A student in the direct flow from Nicola Amati, an Italian great master in violin making.
His working period was from the latter half of the 17th century to the first half of the 18th century, and he started Milanese School.
Some say that among his students were Carlo Giuseppe Testore and Carlo Ferdinando Landolfi.
