Do you think your ethnicity played a major role in securing a training contract? If so, do you think it worked in your favour?
Good question - there were definitely times where I used my background, religion and ethnicity to even answer application questions. For example, I'm Sikh and one firm I was applying to had done some great work with Sikhs, which was one reason for why I applied to them. Was offered a TC with them in the end too, so can say that personalised touch worked in my favour :)
