I've watched this match several times. Shane's patterns are always so simplified. I can tell pretty much what he's shooting next.....

Neno A - Agreed. Pretty amazing to watch him navigate the table the way he does. He finds the perfect routes the cue should take. I was sure he wasn't gonna run the first rack but he did.
yeah... I took lessons for a pro and they adjust your stroke and I tell you... it's pretty hard to correct 20 years of bad habit... It's not even easy to stay still during the shot and not to move even a little bit... it takes focus
you felt like you could approach the game in a nonchalant way and it backfired on you, for 20 years. you made it difficult on yourself and it's not anyone's fault but your own

Would love to see 8-ball tournaments use the take what you make rule off the break...that would make it tougher to run out & make it more interesting

Yup and it happened a little earlier in the game for Shane too. Thats the reason I don't use a spot patch on my tables.
It did push the ball up off of the path it was traveling, but I still don't think he hit it hard enough to get past the 3-ball.
Has any one tried the laser stroke training aid?
And did it help your game?
Listening to these two argue over what they think shane is gonna do is the most entertaining part of this match 🤣
I need someone to help me find out what aiming system I use. What I do is line the edge of the cue ball into the object ball and i imaging the balls together on that line almost like I'm using ghost ball but I'm not. Can someone help me out here?

Shane does have the advantage of turning off his hearing aid and not have to listen to the awful music. "Genie In A Bottle" is not something I would want to hear when I'm playing.

I wish pool halls would A) Limit the volume in pool halls so that it doesn't distract your thinking - especially for us musical types and 2) Ban all rap crap. Having to listen to some idiot- monotone rap with a drum track is the epitomy of reverse-evolution (it's not music - there's no harmony) and 3) Require a bit more upscale attire - not formal but not a t-shirt and sloppy sneakers.

Dumb comment....shows your ignorance of bar table 8-ball.One of the most difficult pocket games there is.The strategy and thinking out the patterns takes longer than more obvious games like 9-ball.
Not a dumb comment at all makes perfect sense if you can't figure what you're going to do in a minute on your next shot get off the pool table and wait the tables. This is worse than watching pagulayan play

it would be really nice if the commentators didn't feel the need to predict every fucking shot 15 seconds into the future. you aren't a genius just let us watch and limit the commentary. We aren't watching to listen to you, we are watching the pool and pool only.
