Wow, Neon X, this is beautiful! When I saw your latest Community post, I knew we were in for something special, and awesome to see you revisiting these beloved themes, but now with expanded sound libraries, renewed creative energy, and a good deal more experience! Of course, the songs immediately sound different because of the differences in instrumentation and arrangement, but it's also very clear that your mixing has improved notably (and it was very good to begin with), with how the lead, supporting, bass, and percussive elements all have distinct roles and space created for them. The sound balance is tighter, too, and there's an increase in just how polished it sounds overall - it's really something to take pride in! :D I have to say, this remix definitely had a bit of a bittersweet feel, and I really got that sensation especially at 0:48 and around 1:30 - they're lovely, yet a bit wistful, and there's something pure and heartfelt about it - like that element of 80's/90's music that just fully conveys an emotion without any pretense or irony - that's one of the many things I love about music from those decades. When encountering a remix for the first time, I always try to listen intently, from start to finish, before reading the description, or beginning to write a comment. I feel it's important to do this because if there are things in the music I'm hearing that are unique or have a strong impact, or if the person really took a creative risk, I want to experience that organically, without being prompted first, or inclined to expect something. So the fact that you mentioned a feeling of "nostalgia and melancholy, despite not having heard the original" nailed _exactly_ what I felt here - testament to your wonderful arrangement and instrument choices! It's so cool how you continue to refine your style and approach to making music, so there are familiar elements in each remix, but it doesn't feel repetitive or samey. That's a tough balance to achieve, but you nail it every time! In particular, I always look forward to hearing a half-time segment where the song takes flight - that's really the best way I can describe how it feels for me - and I really don't know how you manage to do it so well and so consistently, but you're a true guru when it comes to creating a wide range of sensations and feelings for listeners! The use of deep reverb and tandem harmony adds so much richness to the music, and I get the feeling that these parts are special for you, too. I'm always excited - and pleasantly surprised - to see your community grow with each release, and your growth has been incredible over the past few years. I hope you'll continue to find joy in remixing beloved VGM tunes! Until next time, my friend! 💛
Thanks buddy, for an engaging and analytic comment! Always put a smile on my face when I read your extended and well put words. I think you have a great approach on first listen to the music then read the description. It hits me I always do it like that, but never thought of it until you mentioned it now. Thank you for putting some time on commenting my remixes once again! See you around soon I hope!
@@NeonXGameRemixes Thanks very much for the detailed and gracious reply! It makes me happy to know that these comments I write can bring you a smile. :D And yes, I hope to be more consistent when it comes to commenting on your music. Ideally, I would love to support each person I know on TH-cam, on every video they release, but as I meet more and more amazing folks in the community, it becomes increasingly hard to do so (while also juggling added responsibilities at work this school year). Still, you're someone that I greatly admire, as both a talented musician/producer and a caring family man, and it's a genuine pleasure to be an active part of your community. Thanks again, my friend! 🌟
This was the track I was looking forward to the most, and I wholly enjoy the approach you took here. The use of suspended chords works really well with the overall feel of this one. Incredible job :)
@@writhes7170 yeah, but I also put a clean Mega Man figure art image into the prompt. When just trying to get AI to draw Mega Man without any reference image you can imagine what it tries to imagine ;) Nothing close to Mega Man xD

this goes hard!! the intro reminds me of the abstract hope remix of this song lol
Hey thanks man! I really appreciate the compliment 🥳
that art is really cool
How curious the Mega Man Helmet looks with the Triangles of X's helmet, it looks cute and still has its square on its forehead 👷♀️💙
My favorite robot master theme from mm2, really good remix like always
Thanks man, I really appreciate that!
Bubbly one. I feel the rhythm flowing. ^^ Great work!
I think this my fav so far. Love the dreamy feels to it. Megaman and Vectorman were my go to growing up

Thank you for the kind words! Love Bubble Man too, one of the best in the series. Loved writing this version 🥳
Better than the original. Really feels like you’re underwater. A remaster.

Very nice work !
Nice remix!
Can we have you team up with Jud6ment to put these in a mega man MCU-1 music package? Would be epic to play games to your soundtracks! (Zelda too!)
🎶 ✨️
Very polished
Kinda sounds like a breath of fresh air tbh.
Pun somewhat intended 😅
Who did the art? This megaman art looks incredible.
I used Midjourney to prompt it ;)
@@NeonXGameRemixes AI generated? I gotta say the the child like proportions yet serious and stoic look just seem very fitting for classic megaman.

Can you do Drill Man's theme next?
What is going on with his helmet?
