ICELAND VLOG #16 | THE BEST PHOTOSPOT IN ICELAND

Me and my friends have travelled to Iceland and are travelling the south coast of Iceland! We met each other five years ago in college and have stayed close friends ever since then. As one of us wanted to visit Iceland, we decided to all go with her!
This vlog contains our last days in Iceland, where we decided to drive for three hours to the glacier lagoon, also known as Jökulsárlón. We enjoyed the beautiful view! It was so nice! Across from this lagoon, you have the diamond beach, but because of the cold and our laziness, we decided to stay in the car. It took us 3 hours to drive back again, so in the evening we decided to just chill, have some food and play some games.
The following day was also our last full day in Iceland. We decided to see the Kerio Crater and we wanted to find a hot spring. On the internet, we had read about a Secret Lagoon, but also that it would be an hour walk in order to get there (plus an hour back). We decided not to do this, since the hour back in the cold in our wet clothes would not be very fun, so Irene had found another secret hotspot. She said at least ten people could fit in there, but when we arrived, we saw that we were tricked! Not even ONE FOOT could fit in this thing! So, we decided to have dinner. Fish and chips at FISHERMAN, and it was soooooo delicious! And not expensive for Iceland! In the end, we had payed around €15 for the food and water and coffee are for free! How wonderful!
We had not booked an airbnb for the last night, thinking we would be fine not sleeping for one night and just hanging out in Reykjavik and maybe see a comedy show, but in the end, we were so tired we still decided to book a hotel, very closeby the airport. BEST IDEA EVER, since I fell asleep immediately after we had seen the Northern Lights so clearly!
Now we are all back in Holland, but I see my friends a lot! I can say this was one of the best trips I have had, and I want to thank my friends for being so nice and wonderful! I love you guys!
