Hello 💗 I'd just like to say I absolutely love your videos you helped me learn so much I'm still a beginner especially this video thank you so much and keep up the good work 💗
Your instructions are the best. I hadn't knitted for years and couldn't remember how to cast on. I looked at video after video and everyone moved too fast. Then I found your casting on video and I had no trouble relearning. Thank you. xo~linda
I love all of your videos, and get so excited when you post a new one! Thank you I much for your time, effort, energy, passion, and excitement! You are my absolute favorite knitting channel and I recommend watching your videos to anyone who is looking to start. 😌😁🤗🙌🏽🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
awesome video, I will start the "basic knitting" video and hopefully this one after in 2025 (cause I don't have the neccesary stuff yet to start in 2024) but I am very excited!
I think I learned to cast on the way you demo-ed but I didn't like it because I never could figure out how much yarn I'd need for the cast on stitches. So, instead of doing it that way, I just do a slip knot and then knit on the number of stitches that I need. It's less complicated and I never have to rip it out because I didn't guess the right amount of yarn I needed to cast on the required stitches.
Excuse please, but isn't it the thicker the yarn (referring to the chart of yarn weights you presented) the more needed due to there being less yardage per ball? I believe you said the opposite. If my mistake please forgive me.
She probably meant less overall yardage, but if you're thinking in terms of how many balls or skeins of yarn you need, you probably need more of those than if you were to knit in a lower weight.
Who's knitting their first scarf?
Thank you!!! I love your detailed explanations.
Awesome instructions, thank you❤❤❤
Glad it was helpful!

You’ll need more yarn in terms of yardage for thinner yarns and less yardage for thicker yarns. Hope that makes sense!
Thank you for clarifying!
