I enjoy the content. Than you for posting this one. I have a Titan 12. I’m still getting it set up. I have a question about your steering under power. Do you use the rudder and have the motor shaft pinned or are you steering with the motor?
I steer with the rudder but after having a stern mount I highly recommend going bow mount. You will have way more maneuverability with a bow mount and be able to spot lock.
That's a bit scary for sure. Question concerning your boat. I've owned a Titan 12 in the past and am currently shopping for another boat. It will be another 12 or maybe the 10.5. I see you have the 10.5. How do you like it?
I like it, it’s a good kayak but I wouldn’t go any smaller than the 12. I’m honestly trying to switch to a Nucanoe unlimited with an Xi3. Now that I’ve had time on the water and added the motor the pedal drive just gets in the way especially if you run an xi3 with spot lock and gps track. That plus you can get into the unlimited and an xi3 for about the same money.
