Solid review, thanks. I appreciate the common forewarning to not buy on a promise as we are seeing more and more with little accountability when a promise is not delivered.

Thanks for mentioning the potential integration with humidifiers and dehumidifiers. That's a feature I never knew I needed, but now I can't wait to see it become a reality!

You’re welcome. It’s a great product and I love the dual station design and I can’t wait for the humidifier and dehumidifier accessories. The whole system is a brilliant design. Except for the soap issue, lol

@@ModernDayTech Is it a soap issue though? I assume the Soap is a separate part of the station, and so gets added to the water which is coming from your supply when the bot fills up for a mopping run when required.
So if they launch the humidifier, I would imagine it wouldn't mix the soap if it was going to top up the humidifier.
All speculation, and not having this myself I'm not 100% sure.
I have the Eufy S1Pro which is amazing. The roller mop on it is almost full width of the robot.
Great reviews man, keep up the good work

I think it’s a great push for innovation but it misses the point in terms of actual cleaning efficiency. Not being able to reach edges and corners like the latest Dreame and Roborock misses out on the total hands off approach. While it handles some of the lower percentage of people who want to avoid refilling it introduces more frustration in terms of multiple spots for the robot to travel to, lack of dedicated mop cleaning like the Eufy S1, and a small cleaning surface as compared to spinning mops. I am not sure how many houses truly have giant globs of liquid that need cleaning so the smearing really isn’t a realistic problem. Finally, the robot is too tall at 115mm which will prevent it from getting close to kitchen cabinets as compared to other robots that are 95mm which makes a big difference. But, commending the effort in pushing the innovation and looking more iterations on this.

Hi, great video, SwitchBot suggests using their own cleaning solution but have you found any alternative, after shipping + customs it becomes very expensive.

I bought that robot and unfortunately the floor cleaning quality is very low, so I'm not using this feature and clean the floor manually until they propose better mopping roller or add next level of water dozing. I'm not the only one who have the same issue as you can read on the kickstarter:
"Hey Switchbot, the roller mop is a great start. But I have tile floors and need a bit more aggressive "scrub" for a better deep clean.
Why not design a mop with soft bristles on it? The previous model of floor cleaner I had placed these plastic bristles in a circular pattern on the mop and that worked awesomely!
Just a hopeful suggestion for future upgrades and those of us that need a bit more aggressive mopping clean...
    "

Lydar, is placed ONTOP of the robot, so this small things, pencils, wire, flat poop is NOT going to be seen.....
This is the easiest hands off system on the market today.....

The LiDAR on top is mostly for mapping and knowing its location but the sensors on the side/front are mostly for seeing obstacles. Eufy X10 is a similar robot vacuum with LiDAR on top and that vacuum was 100% in the same test. So LiDAR is not the issue. It is indeed a great hands off smart vacuum that I love but like most things it has room for improvement.
