Thank you for this information! I've been a little overwhelmed with all the different info for different from different states.
I'm not in the mix, but a lot of this stuff gets convoluted! I agree, this man's info seems really good... I wonder how many "poachers" are in this / these areas because of it often being such a PITA...? a
Going to be my first time chasing Muley’s in Idaho this year. I’m pumped!
I’m getting it done this year in the backcountry…Full send.
Appreciate the info Brady! I’m proof you can get it done on these tags too!🤘🏼
Awesome, man! 👊
Thank you Brady for sharing this great information. Your knowledge is second to none
God's Blessings to you on all your adventures
Good stuff Brady. Thanks for
Thank you for watching! Best of luck this fall.
Excellent advice and overview on multiple states with solid low or no point unit opportunities.
I plan on doing a Wyoming rifle mule deer 🦌 and pronghorn hunt this fall. I have 4 points for both species.
The only two general regions that I can’t draw in Wyoming with 4 points is G and H in the regular draw.
I will also have to keep an eye out for those turn back or leftover tags 🏷️
Thanks 🙏 Brady for sharing some good gems 💎 here on mule deer 🦌.
Hello, I’m young and trying to get into hunting but have no prior experience if you don’t mind it’s hard to find good information on the point system? I’m assuming if I apply for a non resident tag to say Arizona not hunting there before I would have 0 points but how does one get points for a state or do the points crossover through states.
Thanks!
We’re gonna get her done this year Brady
Thank you! Great video.
Brady the mule king 👊🏻
Thanks Baddy✔✔
Love the stickers mule deer ftw
Mule deer and a pin up girl, awesome sticker!
Cant wait for 2023 tags
Good job
Missing out on the Dakotas. Some big Mules if you know where to look.
Agree. I build points there for a reason in the Dakota’s 😎 I touched on this very briefly in my article that supplements this video. But I want to expand more on Nebraska and the Dakotas when we get them in Insider. So many ways to pick up tags for mule deer that it’s hard to condense it into one video.
I was going to say the same thing about the Dakotas. A good bit of either or subspecies hunt tags 🏷️ there.
I believe that they will be adding the Dakotas to Insider this year or next.
When you say you plan to get mule deer in all western states does that include the people’s communist republic of California? I notice hunting forums mention CA like the cycling community mentions Lance Armstrong….like never. Unfortunately I live there and this is going to be my 2nd year attempting to hunt deer. Should I just put my efforts else where. Like AZ or Utah? Thanks!
Can you utilize all of the insider features on your iPhone or is a laptop or desktop preferred.
What are the units in colorado that are 100 percent draw for 2nd rifle?
Great info Brady! but what about chronic wasting disease? most of us can't afford to spend a thousand bucks to go hunting and not be able to eat the meat once harvested! unless it's all about the horns. yes, Colorado will issue a new tag for a different unit if your deer tests positive for CWD, but that doesn't do much good if your time limited or unable to move your camp to a different area. Colorado is also 85% private property, yes there's a lot of National Forest land but it's usually surrounded by private or leased land with 0 access to public land so be prepared to fork over some big money for private access or do some serious hiking. I am a Colorado resident since 1971. seen it go downhill every year since and now the legislative idiots are Bringing in the Wolves, what a shame! I love Hunting Muley's! Welcome hunters to Little California!
Extremely helpful. Could/Would you update this for 2025?
We could definitely get something recorded for 2025. Great suggestion.
I have an OTC ID tag, can I also apply for the ID LE Tags. If I draw one do I lose my OTC Tag. How does this work? Thanks!!!
Hey Jacob. This is Brady responding to you. That is correct, even if you have a OTC Idaho tag already, you can still apply for a controlled deer hunt. If you draw a controlled deer hunt, you can either keep the current OTC tag, or turn it in, and then keep the controlled hunt tag. Then later you could pick up another OTC tag if you wanted as a second tag if one becomes available again.
California please ?
Oregon has some healthy sized cats
This helps you get a tag.
Now the real work begins. Finding a decent buck.
I think of it this way
Just because you know where someone lives doesn’t mean they’re always home.
Prepare to put time and a ton of physical stress for a good mountain muley.
Theres no muleys in Nebraska
Nevada . . . . Nevada . . . . Nevada . . . . ??
Check out the article 👌
Love it,$2000. Saved from spending in Co..
Another $1000. Saved from buying license.
That's $3000. A non resident. Hunter spends if not more in Co.
Per hunter. Oh yea you resident hunters are definitely going to be paying way much more ,now your state will loose that profit.
This California hunter always looking for content around hunting our state... 😭 oh well....
I think their from Utah
Mule deer are a sub species
Love the information until you start talking about my state 😂😂😂 I’m a self proclaimed hypocrite
Unfortunately more videos like this will result in less tags for us.
Welcome to hunting in the age of information. It’ll happen whether you like it or not. Adapt or stop hunting I guess
Don't forget Texas. You can get a mule deer tag every single year. No drawings, no points. You just have to figure out how to get on private land. It's just a matter of money.
