I love how the kinship attacks start with being kind of goofy, then slowly get more serious and confident. It helps show the main characters growth and some of the early ones are honestly kind of funny to watch.
Now the only thing missing is Razewing Ratha's version of Sky-High Dive, plus Ground Flare (what it uses and has for the briefest of moments when it's wings still aren't unlocked)
I'd like to imagine Valstrax doing his meteor dive while humming his theme and the hunter is just hanging on for dear life. That Brachydios Montage though.
I love how they changed up/added more animation to some of the old monstie kinships like Zinogre, Brachydios, Lagiacrus, and the ending of Nargacuga's kinships! Although some other ones kinda got nerfed too like Rathian and the ending explosion of Glavenus. (Really sad about how the negative-like effect is way shorter and it doesn't make the cool sound from the old game)
Well yeah, this velocidrome is clearly immortal and the perfect monster, which is why everyone is trying to kill it, but they couldn’t possibly actually hurt him
I think there are some different kinship attacks when you and another player have the same monster. Me and some random did a dual kinship with our nergigantes and they did an animation ive never seen before.
@@prestonthemetapod1484 right after ratha's power is awakend by ol' Dede, and right before he's captured ratha has the ability to use the rite of kinship and a kinship attack in battle, it's called Ground Flare.

Nergigante was the last dragon that I expected to be rideable. With all the spikes adorning his back, where would the rider sit? But I'm glad he's rideable nonetheless.
I like how there are just a bunch of monsters exploding stuff and all that. Then you just got Reverto using his human skills to do more damage than most of the other attacks.
Surprisingly, there's also more than 1 double kinship attack you can make when playing with random people. Other than the default double kinship where you have both monsties charge straight headon into the enemy in a beam of light, i've also seen double velkhana fly into the air and shoot their beams at the enemy. Not sure if there are others though.

I am proud of being able to fight tigrex at level 15 and hatch him. He one shotted most of is but now he is one of my strongest monsters atm, love they let you do that :D
The only thing that I am upset about with some of the kinship attacks is that the subspecies has the same move as the base monster with the only thing changing being the colour of the actual attack such as ash kecha wacha it says torrent glide when torrent by definition is related to water and not fire which to me makes some of the specials just not feel as good.
I mean, there's a possibility that there's more beyond what we were shown. Not to compare Stories 2 to World nor am I saying that Stories will have as many updates but World had a lot of updates and dlc that were shown after each roadmap. We don't know if there's anything planned beyond what was show but there's still November and December to consider, though they also might just stop at the October updates. I really hope they don't, though.

I can't tell if Paolumu was trying to attack or if it just sneezed. Using Basarios like an artillery piece. No comment, I just like it. Easy to miss: just before Gypceros uses its flash, you cover your eyes. Personal opinion: green is not Nargacuga's color. You kick Uragaan for its rolling attack, but not Lagombi. Why? Does Gravios really need to be told to shoot something? Do you think you need to brush Sand Barioth's teeth more frequently due to all the sand? You are now realizing they gave Rathalos a rider kick. Really, what I appreciate most is that your monsters don't look so puny anymore.
Did anyone notice that in the beginning of the game where Mr Chicken was encountered he was tryingto eat a kulu egg, which technically makes himself a cannibal.

They HEAVILY downgraded rathien's scorching slice. It looks so meh. And the difference between in colors and intensity was removed with varients.
