Hey ali, i am looking to get a windshield for my z800. The one you have on is available on ebay. Just wanna know, How was the wind protection on it above 60mph. Do you recomend this windscreen or should i get puig fly z800 screen instead?
Awesome bike brother! Quick question: Is there a reason why the front tire pattern is going the opposite direction of the rear tire? I'd like to get a set of those tires and was curious, thanks alot.
In most high-end, sporty motorcycle tires the front tire is a reverse tread. This is because the front tire and rear tire have opposite forces acting on them. When you accelerate, the rear tire needs grip when turning forward, but when you brake, the front tire needs grip in the opposite direction to slow the bike down. Also, many front tires have grooves designed to push water away to the sides so the center of the rear has more traction over a wet surface.

@@techten1012 Pros: Smooth handling, surprisingly good suspension, feels pretty good in the corners, decent gearbox, good riding position, reliable, has ABS, and is fairly affordable used. Cons: Heavy, a little outdated now, the brakes are just okay, stock seat sucks Overall it's a good bike, but it's not the most special. If you consider yourself a good rider I would get a '17+ MT-09/Fz09 or a Z900 as they're both lighter with a little more power. The biggest reason I sold mine is that it was starting to get a little boring for me as I began riding some European bikes. If you can stretch your budget a bit, the triumph street triple's are excellent 2nd bikes.
