    1. Do a horizontal wall run in front of them
    2. Enjoy

I'm a 33 old woman who just recently took up parkour. I absolutely have no friends who want to do it with me. They are a pretty academic bunch and not sporty or outdoorsy at all. So I train alone. I just learned a trick today that I've tried to make happen. I pondered on taking a video of it and showing to my friends but decided against it: what if I just keep this to my self. My own time with my best friend: ME!
People look at me funny sometimes as I'm not part of the demographic who are supposed to try to monkey vault in a park but let them look. While they look, I'm learning something empowering and fun!
Thank you for this video! I needed this to know, I'm on the right path with this.

Heyo! I'm a 14 year old female who is considering Parkour. I had a dream about it before I even knew what it was. Destiny finds a way hahaha
And I saw a comment saying that women can't do it. That is a whole ton of bullSHIT. Most of these videos are male, but that doesn't mean is aspiring females don't exist

It can be tricky to train alone with people watching. My local park is the biggest in the area and the outdoor gym has constant onlookers. Sometimes you have other teens and adults that either think your crazy or cool for doing what your doing. But then others don't take much notice of it. Being age 17 I find this to be a fun, exploration type of excersize and really enjoy it. Thx for all the advise over the past 2 years Ronnie!

The number 1 safety thing is still mindfulness, but there's 3 specific things I can think of when I'm alone.
    1. Don't attract too much attention late at night unless you're in a neighborhood you already know.
    2. Always have a cell phone and make sure it's charged up.
    3. Consider wearing a bump cap- could even be one of those skullers inserts in a cap or even a little bump cap beanie. There's a lot of options these days, but when you're alone, you won't have the assistance of someone else for those critical seconds that could save your life if something happened. Those little inserts are more freeing than a helmet but offer better protection than if you don't wear anything.

This man teaches me everything, but im really a shy person who thinks in a negative way,so its really hard for me,even though in high school im really shy, when we are doing a drama,i said to my self, goddamit here we go again, and thats why sometimes i fail other subjects, its really hard to think in that way, sometimes my body "move by itself" i mean sometimes my head is blank and i just like my body move by itself and then when my head backs to normal i said to my self, "what the, what happened?",and still today im still shy,and because when im in a highschool everyone was judgemental so every thing you make a stupid/weird things they just throw you some mean words and i know for sure "people only remembers the mistake you made" so still today im really shy nothing change at all and thanks to this man it helps me a little bit to get a confidence and walk alone like there is no one watching you can do whatever you want and yeah Thank you Man thanks for your help!

It's just like he said; it's all about the baby steps. When I started, I was so scared of everything, but I had really patient friends to help me out and gain confidence. If you don't have friends to train with, I highly suggest watching Ronnie's videos. And remember, no step is too small. If that's all you can do, do it! Then when its easy, make it a little harder. You'll be amazed at what you'll be able to do!
