Awesome use of our product! For anyone watching, please note the waterlily should be installed the OTHER way as shown in this video! You will get WAY more power if installed the other way around :) We are going to add a arrow sticker, a few people have made this mistake.

Hello my friend from Moose Jaw
Good to see you out with you son. Awesome job with the power kids have more fun and feel safer I think when they know if they want they can turn on the light. Kids also learn that there are more ways to get power. I like it good video. Stay healthy with your family bye bye

I had been watching videos on cool camping gadgets recently and the Waterlily was one of them. Today I come across your video of it I didn't know you had posted a month ago.

Does it require fast moving water or could you put it into a five gallon bucket for instance and it would run? What about in a slow moving river without white water or rapids? We have a full on river on our property but no rapids very calm.

The faster the water the higher the output

@@Lonewolfwildcamping Great to know. I'm thinking this would work on our river even though it's a calm river there are still currents underneath the surface so should work I think.

After a year's time, what are your thoughts on the water-lily?

I love it. Works really well, I also have the new version and wind turbine attachment so it can either work in water or as a wind turbine.

Can you charge 36 V electric bike batteries with the water lilly Generator?

What a very cool idea. The flickering is likely the Pulse width modulation... which is essentially and on/off situation. I find certain LED flashlights do it as well. I may be wrong but it makes sense. Great invention!

Thanks man, most lights will flicker in camera due to fame rate and /or shutter rate. Its annoying but interesting

You have it in the creek backwards.

    • @Lonewolfwildcamping

Yes , it still generates enough power for the lights while using the grate part as a debris filter from leaves clogging up the prop.
