Flower arranging course: blossomandbran... Life on the flower farm in the fall is pretty crazy--there's so much to do, from harvesting and drying flowers to saving seed, planting native perennials and more-- add into all that the demolition work we are doing right now and well, there's a LOT going on!
In today's video we will show you the plant we shouldn't have put into our meadow, give you a tour of our awful mudroom, and take you on a flower harvest! We'll also show how we use chicken wire to make arrangements without the use of floral foam.
Lots going on in today's video! We'll see you again soon!
Hard to get mad at those boys! They are so cute!!
The sheep! So naughty. I know I am not alone in having my bottle lambs “prune” all the flowers.
Enjoyed the video and appreciated the information.
The lambs look so pleased with themselves for eating the harvested flowers.
Love your sheep!!! You cant be mad at them with their cute faces!!
How can those adorable faces possibly be in trouble?
Love, love your videos. Very inspiring… lovely farm and how environmentally conscious you are , ❤. Learn so much from you. Thanks. I’m trying to plant more native plants in my garden this fall.
That centerpiece at the end!! 😍😍
I love your videos and your mission for regenerative farming/gardening! We recently moved to Nebraska, and I want to implement all your tips and tricks for gardening.
Congrats on the move!! What a fun journey you’re going to have!
My sheep would have definitely trashed the whole garden, very impressed with your well behaved sheep
We have a couple of goats and they managed to break down some fencing and eat our ENTIRE corn patch this summer. Gotta love them but MAN can they be destructive haha
Sheep ignore directions from humans and follow their prime directive to munch whatever delicacies they find to eat. I like roses and dahlias too, but not for eating. I look forward to seeing your renovations and certainly understand why you need a mud room. That staircase invites disaster. Good luck!
Your channel is so informative! Looking forward also to seeing your progress on your renovations. 😊 Those boys did not look at all sorry!!
Don’t the birds find the target in the background (at 6.46) just a little ominous?
Only kidding! 😂 I know they are safe with you. Great vid, as always.
What kind of sheep are the mischievous boys?
How do you not have a million grasshoppers!? I live less than 5 miles from you and have giant gross grasshoppers all over my dahlias and zinnias 🤢😭
Free food Mom!
Hi, i was wondering what your age is and how you're holding up physicaly with all that hard work! 😮
I’m 39! :) I’m hanging in there but definitely won’t want to be doing this much work when I’m 60!
I want to take your classes. Where can I sign up?!? 😊 (I’m in Denver)
Which nursery do you get local natives from? I’m in Colorado near you. I know you grow a lot of yours but heard you mention a nursery in this video. When you mentioned Stock flowers are they Gillyflowers? Which variety? Would like to try cold flower growing and this may work
Harlequins in Boulder is fantastic. Prairie Moon is great mail order but not necessarily native to CO, so do your homework with them.
Harlequins and high country gardens, there’s another called prairie nectar. :)
@@Blossomandbranch wonderful! I use High Plain Ecological Center and High Country Gardens now but will check out the other two . Want to expand my prairie. Thank you for the taking time to reply. Your home and videos are a source of inspiration to me ❤️
Lol
They're so naughty but it's my own fault for leaving the barn door cracked, haha!
