Never give the other player a free card when you have a very good hand. Checking on the frop was a big mistake. Taras should of put a big raise with the set and if Bulldog decided to chase, so be it.
I don't know why Alex didn't go all in on the turn. Even if Doug had pocket 9's, he has him beat. Going all in would put pressure on Doug if he is chasing, which he is.

Played a hand very similar to Bill v Charles.. except I flopped trip 8’s with A8 and backed into the nut flush with the Ace of diamonds.. I Bet the River and got raised 4x.. ended up making an exploitive fold because this particular villian had 0 bluffs in this spot and he wouldn’t raise with trips or a worse flush in that spot.. it was a pre tier fold I was pretty proud of it 😂 he had J8 for a rivered boat
