Every one has to keep constitution book in their house.and have to read and understand. Then it would be better understanding about the justice and courts
It’s a book cart. They’re on wheels and the shelves are sloped or angled so you can see the covers on the lower shelves without having to bend oneself. You find them in public libraries.
We have 13 circuit court of appeals, and even more district and trial courts. And that’s not even including the state courts. Those responsibilities moved more to the circuits.
I love listening to all justices from Scalia, to Breyer, to Bader-Ginsburg, to Gorsuch, to Sotomayor, and now Coney-Barett. The wisdom and judicial knowledge they have is truly above partisan politics, and all humble, too! The only justice I find unfit for the role is Kavanaugh. Listening to his confirmation hearing and interviews is like listening to an arrogant college fraternity jock. Reading his decisions, especially next to other justices' writings especially the conservative ones, makes his look like a high school english essay! No wonder only Gorsuch joins him in writing his opinions. Most of the time, he joins someone else or writes opinions by himself 🤣
Look not further than the present United States Supreme Court. With their rulings, they are creating the "Right Wing Authoritarian Dictatorship" that A Canadian Newspaper has predicted the United States of America will become by 2025. I think that is just about what's going to happen. The United States Democracy is on a ventilator, and time is running short.

11:15 to 11:37 "..decided by human beings" what is the guy implying? that the usa is a country so special, so exalted, so divine that it's almost unbelievable that judicial decisions about law were made in a courtroom and - unbelievable, open your ears - by mere human beings! as opposed to gods and demigods, as he'd see more fit? this is utterly grotesque, to say the least.
Yeah I see what you mean but it seems clear he is mentioning the personality of the court. I also think you should see he is a journalist... They tend to blabber nonsense alot

I think the U.S. Supreme court is unique in that it can call actions of the President or Congress as Unconstitutional. In many countries, courts do not have that ability as in the case of the U.K., their courts do not overrule acts of Parliament.
I like America but this religious compulsion in America is really disgusting . Reminds me in islamic country . Do judges also have to pray and ask god for permission before they pass judgment ? Must the accused pray beforehand ? It's so ridiculous and very unfree. I am so glad that there are many other countries in the world without religious dogmatism .
To think that Oliver Wendell Holmes, such a bright mind, used to sit on this Court. Now it is comprised of political nominees who are not there on legal ability. The fact that judgments are written not by the Justices, but by clerks straight outta Harvard/Yale, should ring alarm bells, and puts this institution to shame. The US ought to look at the superior courts of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia etc, where judges are politically neutral, appointed based on legal talent and not political partisanship.
The United States Supreme Court is far superior to the courts of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia etc. If anything they should be looking at the United States Supreme Court for guidance.
@@UserName0043 on what justification? US Supreme Court decisions are not even written by the judges. They delegate writing their judgments. For that reason alone they cannot be a superior institution. Not to mention that cert. petitions are also delegated. The US Supreme Court has been unacceptably partisan since Bush v. Gore. The judges probably don't fall within the top 1% of lawyers in the country. Too busy appearing on Play School. I suggest you read Richard Posner's book on the federal judiciary before making such idealistic representations about the importance of your apex court. I think your comment is simply based upon a distorted view of American exceptionalism.
Though a Justice's political leanings may play a factor in nominating him, each and every justice is appointed due to his legal ability. All are immensely qualified. The clerks that aide the Justices with drafting opinions are among the brightest young lawyers in our profession.
Not a fan of judicial review declaring acts of Congress unconstitutional means that the courts can also declare acts constitutional. Once the gov receives in effect the courts blessing the goverment begins a very deliberate process of filing away on fundamental rights. It also in effect declares acts of the people unconstitutional for example ruling that the right to travel doesn't include an automobile because the individual can walk. Think of that logic the courts can say you can't walk because you can take a uber. Also most state laws say where there's a sidewalk use it where there's no sidewalk use the shoulder where there's no shoulder walk as far off the road as possible. On back dirt roads that would imply the ditch. The idea that yes you have the right unless it breaks the law shocks the couscous. Then why call them rights. Rights are supposed to be negative in nature but the courts have leaned heavily toward the goverment being the giver of rights altho the phrase Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech suggest that THE freedom of speech preexest the goverment
While I understand your concerns, I would have to respectfully dissent. Especially with your concern about "rights". That is exactly what the courts are there for. It is the very essence of "checks and balances" that keeps all the branches equal. Our Founding Fathers expected the court to act in such a capacity, in my humble opinion.
They illegally allow law enforcement to get away with their crimes useing qualified immunity which doesn't legally exist. Therefore they are guilty of corruption and aiding and abetting in criminal acts.
Yeah Justice Soudor, Thank You For Your Intendable Knowledge. You Stand Righteously With Law and Spread undeniably Truth to the court..
Every time I click on this video your hit with an advert I'm taking this too the supreme court

Thoroughly enjoyable and enlightening.
This was very insightful. Surprised more people haven't viewed this vid.
A very well explained Video. This is the only institution where colleagues become your lifetime colleagues.
Maybe that's not a good thing.

"Most people think they have a right to come to the Court. For the most part, you don't."
8,000 cases are submitted and you only accept 80.
Man, in Brazil our Supreme Court receives, at least, a mount of 100.000 cases per year. And a lot more of 200.000 cases are submitted for the Court.
We have 13 circuit court of appeals, and even more district and trial courts. And that’s not even including the state courts. Those responsibilities moved more to the circuits.
