This was easily the best season yet. I ADORED the guest, uh, let's call 'em chefs I guess. Jared's arc was incredible, Marissa's cake shook me to my core, and IDK what I would have done without Kwesi's steadfast refusal to listen to any advice. If THAT'S not the energy this show needed, I don't know WHAT is!
If Johnny doesn't coach Marissa at least once on phoning it in, the season will be like reading a neurodivergent kid’s report card… so much wasted potential
Eugene doesn't do podcasts as often anymore, but I would love a TryPod where he reads Jared, Kwesi, Marissa, and Johnny's astrological charts. I loved it when he did this with the guys on the TryPod and then again with the Try Wives on You Can Sit With Us. I love the guys so much and adding Jared, Kwesi, Marissa, and Johnny has been a delight! All the adjacent try people are amazing, particularly Jared. I'm using him as a model for my future husband (whom I have yet to meet).
I am always oddly touched when the subtitles are not only accurate, but also have hidden jokes. As someone who needs subtitles, it makes me feel, I don't know, like they genuinely care about all their fans 😊💖
Since the new era of Try Guys Johnny has been my fav, but Marissa stole my heart this year and I hope we see more of her in 2024. If Johnny and Marissa were to team up on something, I would die a happy woman!
