Thanks! Stock ran decent actually. Your little 4910 is a killer saw! And, it looks like you got the ported 372 running real nice. Good job. I need to go through your old videos, as I ran my cs590 yesterday, and it is a complete dog. It has a muffler mod, but needs to be ported, and probably a new carb that isn't semi-fixed high jet. I live at 5500 feet, and that jet just dumps fuel in, and makes it run too rich. It is weird how it kicks in. Sounds like it is going to rip, and 1/2 second later starts going too rich. When it is really hot (snow and about 0 degrees here right now) it runs ok. But, I can't machine, and will only do a base gasket delete, and intakes, minor clean up, and raise the exhaust just a little, and do a real muffler mod with at least a 3/4" pipe. I don't have a 90, so can't raise the uppers (and I think it would help on this saw). Also, I'll check timing advance on your old videos - but it doesn't sound like it needs any.
@@mattfleming86 Awesome! I just did a real muff mod too, and retuned, and it is running awesome. I'm not sure if I'll even take the cyl. off and clean up, it runs good enough now. That is such a deal for a new saw, I think 350, and it cuts great now.
@@bennyblanko3 @bennyblanko3 I pulled my cyl but just to ditch the base gasket. Made a decomp plug at the same time. (620pw but same same) Squish is still a little high but its better now. Been several months but it came out .038 or .040 without gasket i think. With gasket... it sure was easy to start ill leave it at that 😂 Gase gasket gone, a modest muffler mod, standard carb jet, decomp plug (mine was leaking within 3 months of new and caused a wandering tune) and I did some matching on the plastic pieces in the intake/carb plate and modified the little black piece inside the air filter. All in all very little actual work. Its one pissed off beaver now. I run an 8 pin sprocket because im cutting smaller/medium hardwoods and it's just a fantastic saw.

But, with it off, I'll be super tempted to grind. I think the 620 is quad port, and has better/faster numbers from the factory. Mine is running real good now, but it would run better doing what you said, so I'll probably go in there and do that this winter, if I find time.
Highlighting the difference in hardwoods right there... oak is a bugger to cut. That white saw isn't to shabby tbf, can't say I'm a big husky fan though nice work C👍
@@CharlesBrisco ok. The 372 ported clone seemed to run great but it’s hard to know what the port work gained when a lot of gain comes from a muffler mod too. Nice job though
