He's dead Brodie , he died in June wingsuiting. It's eerie I wrote comment few months back saying your pushing the envelope too far be careful , saw it coming he was flying uncharted jumps in Nevada with alot of jagged rock faces etc .damn rip
Guys, you’re great! Most beautiful I’ve seen before! You’ve ironed mountain surface on such close distance that no blade can put between! Exeptional nature views! thanks!
Thats some amazing footage and flying! It was hard to tell in the video but it looked like you packed your base rig just like you would a skydive rig without the D bag
Similar, It's a really neat propack where all the lines are in the middle, fabric is fairly nicely flaked, theres no twists in lines, line tension is even, and I pull all the lines back to the very middle through the topskin as a last step. Hits all the basics and crucial steps along with leaving the nose exposed to roll or invert any way you prefer. And I can do it in sub 10 mins when current, sub 15 any time.
Thanks for the reply and the information. I’ve always found it interesting how each person has a specific way they pack. You seem to always have some really nice openings. That’s one of my favorite camera angles in your videos is watching the deployment.
Michael Ladwig I usually do a standard flat pack when I jump solid objects slider down. Mainly because I have more time between jumps so there’s no need to go fast and because heading performance is much more critical then. Although when I jump this packjob slider down I haven’t had any issues. Fun fact, in 2018 I packed this way my whole Europe trip except for one jump when I was with a slow packer and I did the neatest most perfect flat pack you've ever seen to try to make my container slimmer and shorten my closing loops. Got my first and only tension knot in 605 jumps (which cleared).
Yeah I figured you did a standard flat pack for jumping objects. Thats crazy that you got a tension knot and of course it happened when you took your time and did everything perfect lol. I have my A license I eventually want to do some base jumping. Whos FJC did you take when you first got into base jumping?
@danielristow Pretty stoked to check out the doc youre doing on wingsuiting the high sierra, heard you talking about it in a podcast. I really like the idea of showing more of a back story and what goes into finding those lines.. You're rad dude, sick video.
Crazy not even few months ago I wrote comment saying Brodie your pushing the envelope in am unsafe way , now I just read he was killed in June in a wingsuit , RIP ..damn sad I saw it coming where he was jumping in Nevada was uncharted jumps ...rip
Fly Free, Daniel

This is soooo insane man . I have to start my journey to the greatest feeling of free flight ✈️
Do it! Starts with the first skydive!

@@michaelladwig8992 I didn't take a FJC, I learned from mentors and friends.
