Thank you for having your wife demonstrate!! So far, your video has been the only one I've encountered of freesky bikes that actually has a shorter person demonstate the recommended rider height. I'm 5'1 & i figured this particular freesky model would be too big for me.
I found this bike listed on Amazon. It appears you are the first to review it. I just bought a cheaper fat tire bike, but I am totally wowed by this one. I would want the upgraded controller, too!
These bikes and customer service are amazing! I promise u will not be disappointed, i have 2400 miles on mine in a year and zero issues! Beat bang for ur bike amd def better than my dads aventon. He wants to ride mine everytime 😂
I wish I knew who you talked to. mine is garbage and just got it today.... 1000w untill about 10 min of ridding it then its barely pushing 300w CS wont respond to me so far. this Maxus motor is junk. as of now anyways

Thanks for the review because I was looking at something else and you just changed my mind after watching your two reviews of the Wired Freedom and Predator. I want that Predator tho but would settle for the cheaper Freedom for a first-time buyer.
I'm not sure if I should buy this one or the freesky warrior with 2-wheel drive. Could you give me some advice regarding single drive vs awd ? Thanks and congratulations on the great content
i have both in my garage right now, i like the Swift Horse better. Unless you are very heavy or need the power for very steep hills, I would say swift horse.
Good value with 30 amp controller & 1000w motor. Manufacturer needs to add tail light brake light that is integrated. Also needs to fix rear fender so it doesn't rattle. Like the display gives more detailed information than most. Controller to unlock throttle speed should be standard.
Conglomerates come in and acquire all the decent volume startups. They then cheapen the bikes up as much as possible pushing out competitors while the market shrinks back down to only a few behemoths that own them all. Think about what Luxotica did to the sunglasses market.
It's because the Controller is 30amp, battery is 48v25ah so 48 x 25 equals 1200w of power going to the 1000w motor hence the 35 mph top speed... My Self-Build E-bike is a Scott 26" MTB with a Voilamart 1500w48v rear direct t drive hub motor kit and combined with a 52v20ah battery with a 40amp BMS and it's 35amp controller - fastest I've had out of it is 39/40 mph (on a full charge) but usually it's 37/38 mph maximum... Due to this e-bikes battery being 48v25ah it's powerful enough that when combined with the 30amp controller it's going to be powerful enough to cruise effortlessly at 30 mph and top out at 35 mph... A 30/35a controller with 1000w or more will make for a fun ride, if the bike & rider combined don't weigh too much it will perform well. 👍 Hope this clears things up for you a bit ⚡😎
@MickyBee73 na it's more than that, its the motor, paired with an aggressive controller tune, I have a 1,000w Bafang with a 30amp controller with a 52v, and that bike looks quite a bit faster.
@@MickyBee73 I think it's a Bafang Controller, it came in a kit, the motor has a 6.5 in the model #, alot of torque, great for trails good climer, but not a speed demon 31mph top speed with 52v 29mph with 48v.

Just a quick question about the batteries on these e-bikes. I only use my bike on the weekend so the battery sits for about a week after usage. Is that bad for the battery?
No it won’t hurt your battery at all just don’t leave your battery dead in between usage. Make sure the battery stays at least a third charged when not being used
My Wife has the Rocky Pro bike from Freesky !! Tryin to figure out how to open up the throttle. Pedal assist is 30-33 miles per hour , the throttle is locked to 20 MPH . Any ides how to unlock!!
2:53.Why in the world would they choose to put clear coat over all of the decals...including the warning labels?? I hope this this something that they decide to change.
Maybe it’s just knowing the price of it but to me it kinda looks “cheap” far as build quality? Still great performance for the money but how’s the quality feel?
My personal advice is do not buy a bike where all its parts are made in china that goes over 22MPH. Id go with a bafang build. The jankier looking the better, as it wont get stolen. Rattle canning a bicycle is almost as good as a 1/2 inch gauge bike chain from ABUS. Nobody wants to steal a stolen bike lol. Also nobody wants a bike that appears not 100% functioning. Replace the battery key with an Abloy lock cynlider for 20$ off ebay. It has a half cylinder shaped key that lock picking lawyer needs special tools for.
Once you mentioned proprietary parts. This is always worrisome. Ebikes are like the wild West at the moment. This almost killed apple, till Microsoft allowed office suite on their computers. Even then it wasn't till they made the iPhone. Or people be looking at dead macs all over the world. So all these companies coming out acquiring parts from China and are not going to around for this specific model. New companies for ebikes come out daily. The one who will win will be the ones where every part can be swapped out with quality parts from multiple suppliers.. What do you do? If this company disappears tomorrow ? Big government is not going to bail out ebikes companies, like they did with cars, made in North America. I'm new to your page, enjoy the videos .however the snake thing was a little brutal bud.
