- Tannie Poppie is knows as the Queen of the Rooster Bread. With a cheeky twinkle in her eye, and her infectious laugh, it would be easy to think that she doesn't have a care in the world. But there have been very dark times, and she has had to face much heartache.
When we experience hurt, forgiveness is hard to practice. But by facing up to the pain and anger, and reaching a place of true forgiveness, she has been able to transform anger and hurt into healing and peace.
Take a bit of time to meet this truly inspiring lady!

Sometimes after watching your films I just have to be still for awhile and take them in. This is one of those times. How anyone can survive such a tragedy has to be by some supernatural intervention. Tannie Poppie takes my breath away, fills me with so much joy & awe, and inspires me to rise above my princess problems. Thank you, GR, for celebrating the dignity and beauty of humanity.

She is absolutely right.
But most of us are not so certain.
Most of us are afraid that it may not be so.
We need people like Tannie to remind us of this important universal law.

It certainly does take strong sense of faith and believe to live by the law of 'give and you will receive'. But Tannie Poppie is a beautiful example of this in action x
Where are these people ? Our lives are empty because they are not in it every day. They truely live the life that was given to them - oh man what aa gift.
The sad thing is that they probably are in it everyday. We just stopped seeing them.
I come back to watch these videos every time I lose faith in life. It is only when you see another not losing faith despite adversity, you understand how truly blessed you are. Thank you for sharing such inspirational yet simple stories. These people, their journeys are so incredibly beautiful and powerful that it feels like hope still remains somehow somewhere in a remote part of the world.

To have that purpose and passion that sense of deep surety is what we all want. To do our “ thing “ really well and that be enough for the world and ourselves. To have gone through hard times but still be grateful and inspired. This woman’s life is so much fuller, deeper, richer than mine.

That's one of the things I love about this film in particular and all the green Renaissance films... is that thet feed my inspiration and motivation... as I sit quietly for a few moments and take them in... maybe they can shine light down my road and help me to keep in the faith that I too can live a simple and beautiful and meaningful life to all the little and big ups and downs, ebbs and flows ... and, that can be a legacy for my children and for other people too, perhaps... and on and on 😊💗🤙

Tannie Poppie is a true queen. Her heart overflows with giving and love. And she trusts that she will also be given. I mourn with her over her deepest loss. And laugh with her because her laugh is incredibly contagious. I thank you all for opening a window to me to be able to look into a life that is deeply beneficial. For the whole world.

A simple enough attitude - to accept, forgive and forget - but not that easy to emulate. Tannie Poppy is a good soul.

What a lovely woman. I began by wanting to eat her bread. And then I heard what happened to her daughter. My daughter was torn from her life and from her children by the same cruel means. The pain of this loss is indescribable and my heart can never be mended. But like dear Tannie Poppie, I still enjoy being kind to other people. And Tannie Poppie has inspired me to shine a little more - in my daughter's memory. Bless Tannie Poppie.

Oh my God. What an incredibly beautiful Spirit. So much to learn from this beautiful lady. I had to be quiet and just reflect on all the beautiful words she said and watch the video a second time.
