    Secondary inspections are the equivalent to timeout to a four year old when dealing with customs. They are experts at harassment and retaliation.

    It's important that customs are friendly aswell this would take away the nervousness of dealing with these guys or ladies yup it can be nerve racking If you get a customs officer who has had a bad day, wether it be at home, or they happen to have come across a difficult customer before you,just because you don't make eye contact shouldn't mean you immediately get put under suspicion I am a shy person but work hard on eye to eye contact, unfortunately it is true that you get people working in these kinds of jobs who enjoy the power,and yes it is very nerve racking because these people hold the power as to wether you enter the country or not it can be very heartbreaking when you've saved and flown all that way just to be denied entry because they've had a bad day or they enjoy the power.
    I understand they have a job to do and I understand that they probably deal with people with diverse personalities every day. but it cost them nothing to make you feel at ease so you don't become upset as they do,after all some people have flown halfway around the world to get a taste of this countries rich history and amazing landscape.

    Thank you so much for that! You are so pleasant to watch and hear! I'm planning to visit the US soon to see my sister, my Tita, and surprise my girlfriend! I have been so scared of flying because of immigration people. Getting those flight tickets doesn't come cheap! especially me coming from the Philippines.

  • @robertkyamanywa6339
    @robertkyamanywa6339 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have some inquiry please. I filled the DS 160 form and I had planned my departure date to USA as 20th August 2023 and my return date was 1st September 2023. However upon payment of the visa fee for the interview, the date for the interview was scheduled on 30th October,2024. Now my concern is my planned travel date passed when I have not yet done the interview and getting a visa subsequently due to the wait times put up by the US embassy. So is this explainable to the visa officer?

    GrayLaw please help ! My girlfriend is arriving on a tourist visa . Will a reservation for a hotel that hasn’t been paid yet be suspect for customs ? She doesn’t want to pay a 10 day stay at a hotel considering she may not be allowed entry , and wants to pay upon check in . Is that a red flag ? Thanks.
