Not necessarily. Legal fees can sometimes be a one-time expense or something she saved up for, while housing costs are ongoing and often much higher. It’s not as simple as it sounds when you break it down.
Well said. And when Brianna loses her kids to foster/adoptive parents, the moment, social services takes them away from her, she'll try to contact Lexi, and beg her forgiveness, only, to find out that, Lexi moves states away, disconnected her phone number, and deactivated her social media accounts.⚠️
Why do people who do everything the right way always have to help the people who are screw-ups? The sister is a baby machine and that is no-one's fault but her and her partners. OP owes her nothing.
All of the extended family members who are clamoring to defend a single mother..... why aren't they opening their homes and giving her a place to freeload?🤔
The real headline here is "Step sister tried to steal my house". None of the rationalizations or backstory justify the stepsister's actions. She straight up tried to remove a person from their home so she could live there instead. That's bonkers.
Only a fool would let them move. Just for a little while until I'm on my feet, is forever. 15 years later, they would still be living in your house. No, Lexi should go no contact with her mother and stepfather, for good. Not only that, Lexi should also sell her house, move to another state for a fresh start, find another job, plus, buy a condo there, and grow her own family consisting of supportive friends, a trustworthy therapist, and a wonderful man whose family are good people.
Be careful. She may try something else. If she is mad enough. I am being paranoid for you. I keep thinking of squatter's rights. Don't let her get into your house; for any reason. She could get squatters rights if she has been there for a week. How could she get in? She could pick a lock when you're not home and change the locks. She could commit arson. She could have someone attack you so she could get into your house. Never underestimate her. Get cameras inside and out. Protect yourself. Report her to the police and get an RO on her. The stepsister is a spoiled sow that has daddy wrapped around her finger, but the story starts to sound bogus when the stepsister somehow comes up with money for a lawyer but somehow not for her own apartment???
25:37 - 27:00 Briana’s audacity reaches its peak when she sues Lexi for her own house, but justice finally prevails as the judge sees through her manipulation.
She wasted time doing or saying ANYTHING after "I want you to move out of YOUR house..." Hang up, block ALL numbers associated with her, and file for a RO.
Tell the relatives ‘l am thrilled to hear you are taking her in “. You have no right to be forced to let anyone move in with you or give you her house.
If she had let her stepsister into her house she would’ve had hell to pay to get the step back out again! The step would’ve put her off for months possibly even years then she would’ve had to get her step an eviction which depending on the state and local government could have taken between 30 and 90 days while in the meantime the step would’ve have been trashing the house possibly making it completely unlivable! This so called act of kindness could have cost OP thousands if not tens of thousands to get the house livable again. As evil as this step you know she would have destroyed OP’s home rather than let OP have it back.
If even a word of this is true, it’d be the shortest court session in history. ”They’re not my kids and we are not related. I have no legal obligations. The defense rests.”
OP, I want my kids and I to stay in your house free of charge but I have so much disdain for you I’d rather you move out too. The sense of her entitlement leaves a lot to be desired 😂😂😂😂

And honestly, I don’t know why OP didn’t just tell her wicked stepsister that ‘you’re not my family, and your kids are not my problem.’ Then follow up with, ‘but I’d be happy to call CPS for them if that would help you out.’ Anyone who then decides to act as a Flying Monkey for the stepsister should be invited to give her their home, or shut up. I went to my lawyer to have a cease and desist letter written and he said its not enough proof. He may have been drunk he may have been kidding and my lawyer ($500 per hour in office) said that in good conscience he could not write that letter.
